The Miz Conquered Daniel Bryan

The Miz's SummerSlam 2018 win over Daniel Bryan settled a couple of WWE specials that had been available from the websites that publish betting markets from Kambi.

These specials allowed customers to bet on the person who next defeated Bryan in a singles match. They could also wager on the time-frame when the qualifying loss took place.

When it was first priced up, the eventual winner was not on the board. There's a good reason why - The Miz and Daniel Bryan were on opposing brands.

As you can see by looking at the two tables below, Miz was added at 2/1 by late-April shortly after he was moved back to Smackdown.

Upon making his debut into this market, Miz was backed into EVS within the first fortnight and was cut to 13/20 ten days after that.

He drifted out on two occasions, but - for the majority - customers backed him to be the person who gave Bryan his first L per the rules of these markets.

Miz closed at 1/2 before the market was closed on the night of SummerSlam.

Which leads to the winning selection in the Conqueror market where customers could punt on the time-frame when Bryan suffered his loss.

The 'During SummerSlam 2018' special opened at 2/1 on April 8th, and was cut into 6/4 by the following week. The selection closed at 7/10 on the night of the show.

You can view how I tracked the market in the table below.

There are still two Conqueror markets still in play for the time being. They're for Ronda Rousey and Braun Strowman. When they're republished, you'll find them on the pages below:
