Styles Moved To 8/13 In HIAC 2018 Betting

AJ Styles is now an 8/13 favourite to successfully retain the WWE Championship against Samoa Joe at Hell in a Cell in three weeks.

A market was priced up by Sky Bet in the hours following WWE's confirmation that the SummerSlam 2018 rematch will take place on September's PPV.

When I wrote about the market yesterday afternoon, the WWE Champion was a slightly higher 4/6 while his challenger - Samoa Joe - was at 11/10.

With the early interest coming in on the champ, Joe has increased to 6/5.

The mixed tag team market remains as it was previously with Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella as 4/11 favourites to get the W over The Miz and Maryse (2/1).

    Any chance we get Styles vs Bryan before Styles loses title?

      If Styles beats Joe and Bryan wins against. Is in Australia (stip is for s title shot) then there’s a good chance.

      This match at Survivor Series would be cool.

      I don't think Raw vs Smackdown should happen at Survivor Series since all PPV's are dual branded now

      Yeah, kinda weird promo from him. I still hope they find a way to have this match inside HIAC. Even though a regular match between them can be great too

      Will be in HIAC imo.

      WWE are playing the fans to get a bigger pop from a SDlive crowd. Pretty sure something will go down which results in this match taking place inside the cell.

      Orton v Hardy wont be a HIAC match imo. Jeff's far too banged up for that type of match.

      Other matches from SD are

      Charlotte v Becky - Pretty obvious this takes place considering WWE are getting Mella's rematch out of the way on Tuesday.

      The New Day vs. Winner of the Tag Tournament.

      Mixed Tag Match

      Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Rusev maybe.


      AJ v Joe is the only match that fits the HIAC stipulation imo.

      Hey Darryl, Jeff never had a HIAC match in his career. He said he wants to have a HIAC match before he retires. I can see Orton - Hardy as a HIAC match

    All depends on what management thinks. Jeff may want to but WWE has the final say. I just think he's very banged up at the moment and WWE needs to protect him going forward.

    We shall see.

    By the way odds are up for the Triple Tag Team match on SDLive

    Bar 5/6...Good Brothers 13/8....The Colons 9/2

    I have backed The Bar...If the Bar don't win here then one of them needs to turn on the other as they are done for.

    Other teams in this tourno will more than likely be Sanity, Usos and Rusev Day.

    Finals will either be.

    The Bar vs Usos or Rusev Day

    Sanity vs Gallows and Anderson.
