  1. Interesting, both babyfaces Styles and Bryan are favourites. I can't see both babyfaces winning here.

I think one of these two will happen

    1) Styles retains and Miz wins

    2) Joe wins the title and Bryan beats Miz

    What's your prediction David ?

    1. This is as of right now. Next week's Smackdown could change my opinion.

Of the two scenarios - 1 makes the most sense from booking 101 for the short-term. 2 is where I would like it to end up as Joe being the dominant heel going into Mania to drop to whoever makes the long-term sense based on how WWE builds to Mania each year.

      There is another option.

      3. Styles retains and Bryan wins. Bryan loses the title match due to Orton.

However, there was something Bryan said on Truth TV that stood out to me as he lowered expectations by saying 'If I win' when on about the match with Miz.

  2. I mostly think the winner of Bryan vs Miz faces WWE champion at Crown Jewel.

    1. Possible, but I think they might want to do it at Smackdown 1000.

  3. Highly possible but if Joe wins at Show down then they might do rematch at Smackdown 1000

    1. 'There ain't gonna be no rematch'

The feud ends at SSD for now. Paige has sad this. That's why I think there's a slight chance Joe walks away from the feud with the belt and then Styles moves on to somebody else as they've explained away why he won't get an immediate rematch.

  4. Possible. If that's the case, then IMO AJ has higher chances of winning, Althogh last night's promo from Joe was so good that WWE convinced me that Joe has good chance to win the title

But i think WWE should have done that AJ Styles home segment before Hell in a cell

    1. It worked the other way with me.

    2. Me too. AJ doesn't have a clean victory over Joe either. I just cant see a scenario where a heel picks the stipulation and taunts the babyface's family and goes on to win the Championship and the feud. Good guy overcomes bad guy is the only thing that makes sense imo.

  5. Joe's not winning. AJ looks like a bad father/husband and an overall joke if he doesn't beat Joe. Plus Joe would have already won the title if WWE was going to pull the trigger imo. If you want someone to be champion then you don't keep making excuses to not put the title on him imo.

Read how silly this sounds below but it's reality if Joe wins.

Joe shows up at AJ's house to see his wife and kids to antagonize a reaction from AJ. SSD Randy costs AJ. Joe is champion. AJ I won't bother going after my rematch. I'm not bothered about being WWE Champion anymore and tbh I can't handle Joe taunting my family therefore i'm going to focus on Randy instead and let Joe win whilst letting him get away with everything he has done to me and my family. In other words I give up. See what I mean.

If Joe wins (He won't) then he drops the title before the end of the year to Bryan because there aren't any babyfaces left for him to face.

Rusev - Mid Carder WWE has never seen him as a main eventer. Future feud with Nakamura lined up imo. Currently feuding with English so this should tie him up until 2019.

Jeff Hardy - Not going to get a push now he's coming to the end of his career and I think he will call time very soon. 1 last Mania match maybe and that will be it and it will be a sad day for me when it does happen.

Rey Mysterio - If he goes to SDLive then he shouldn't be getting a main event push as he needs to put over superstars like Almas for example as Rey has a history of injury problems and like Jeff doesn't have much time left either.

AJ Styles - If what David is saying happens then WWE can't do this match again if WWE did do this match again and AJ loses then how bad does that make him look.

Which only leaves Bryan because Orton and Nakamura aren't turning face as they have only just turned heels. Miz is a natural heel and won't turn. Almas' character is great and there is no need for him to turn face. I fully expect to see a Mysterio feud where Almas goes over as the passing of the torch (Next big Mexican star).

As I said a couple days ago Abraham you may not have seen the post but with AJ as champion WWE can do the following

    AJ vs Miz
    AJ vs Orton
    AJ vs Almas

All investable feuds. American punters are backing Bryan on the basis he lost twice and that's it tbh. They done the same at HIAC even though it was obvious the pinfall would come down to the Women. Therefore Bryan wouldn't have gained anything even if they did win at HIAC because he didn't pin Miz.

IMO this is the Gargano/Ciampa storyline for those of you who watch NXT.

Gargano has consistently lost to Ciampa as WWE are playing the sympathetic babyface card for months but in the end Gargano ends up over coming Ciampa. NXT TakeOver Mania weekend imo.

Bryan overcomes Miz at Mania to become WWE Champion for a fairytale ending and it would make a great story for an episode of Total Bella's to portray.

  6. But as you say Abraham either AJ/Miz win or Joe/Bryan win.

I'm all in on the first option. Bryan doesn't lose any credibility in defeat because Miz hasn't beaten him clean at all.

Another key point punters may want to take note of is this.

It was already announced Miz/Bryan would happen at Show-Down before HIAC Miz has said Maryse is leaving to go back to being mother of the century knowing he has to face Bryan one on one at SSD.

WWE done this to make fans think that Bryan is going to win because Miz can't hide behind his wife anymore. The entire storyline has been about Miz hiding behind his wife. Fake Baby doll. Fake bump onto Maryse and brass knuckles handed to Miz by Maryse at SummerSlam. but it's all a swerve and Randy is going to cost Bryan.

American punters are letting there hearts rule there heads imo.
