Closing Odds For WWE Mixed Match Challenge S2 E7 And More

All markets for tonight's matches on WWE Mixed Match Challenge are now closed, so I thought I'd point out the early and later prices as well as mention some specials for the tournament that wee published over the weekend.

The markets for the match featuring the Raw talent closed on Monday afternoon. The match winners market was unchanged from when it first went live with Ember Moon and Braun Strowman as 1/16 favourites.

A victory in favour of Alicia Fox and Jinder Mahal was priced up at 6/1.

The 'Gender of Decision' proposition market, where clients could place bets on the legal participants when the fall is counted, closed with 'Male' at 13/20. As you can see in the table below, the selection was 7/10 to start off with.

Date/Time
Male
Female
27/10 4:00PM
7/10
EVS
29/10 3:00PM
13/20
11/10

With 'Male' dipping in the market, the odds for 'Female' were increased from EVS into 11/10.

The Smackdown brand match has WWE Champion, AJ Styles, and Charlotte Flair tagging up against Lana and Rusev.

Just like with the Raw match, 'Male' was backed in the 'Gender of Decision' market as it moved in from 6/4 into 6/5 after a couple of days.

The punters chose to back Flair and Styles in the match winners market as their odds were cut from 1/8 into 1/12 with a stop at 1/10 in-between.

Date/Time
Flair and Styles
Lana and Rusev
27/10 4:00PM
1/8
4/1
29/10 3:00PM
1/10
23/5
30/10 4:00PM
1/12
5/1

As a result of Flair and Styles seeing interest from the punters, the bookies pushed Lana and Rusev out from 4/1 into 5/1.

Over the weekend, the bookmakers published a handful of new markets for the tournament. Here's what they had:

Best Finishing Position
This is similar to head-to-head markets where two teams oppose each other and the customer chooses which of the two will finish in a better position of the two.

There were three markets priced up.

Ember Moon and Braun Strowman  4/5
Mickie James and Bobby Lashley  9/10

Both teams are at 2-0, so it's understandable to see them both paired off in this market.

Asuka and The Miz 7/10
Charlotte Flair and AJ Styles EVS

Asuka and The Miz are 3-0. Flair and Styles are 2-0, but could hit 3 tonight.

Ember Moon and Braun Strowman 17/20
Charlotte Flair and AJ Styles 17/20

Both at 2-0.

Exact Combination of Finalists
This is a market where customers can guess what the final will be. The last match is scheduled to take place at Tables, Ladders and Chairs in December.

Ember Moon and Braun Strowman .vs. Asuka and The Miz 2/1
Ember Moon and Braun Strowman .vs. Charlotte Flair and AJ Styles 2/1
Mickie James and Bobby Lashley .vs. Asuka and The Miz 5/2
Mickie James and Bobby Lashley .vs. Charlotte Flair and AJ Styles 3/1
Bayley and Finn Balor .vs. Asuka and The Miz 8/1
Bayley and Finn Balor .vs. Charlotte Flair and AJ Styles 8/1

    1. The guy who isn't going to UFC after it!

    2. Braun Strowman because of same reason you said

Would be interesting to see how AJ vs Strowman goes at Survivor Series. I mean AJ losing twice to Universal champion would kinda be bad

  2. They can actually do Strowman vs Joe. It follows face vs heel thing

    1. Yeah, but it's obvious that Joe is in there because Bryan refused to go to Saudi Arabia, so that wouldn't have been the plan.

With that said, nor would Strowman have been the plan 2 weeks plus ago.

    2. Which means Original plans might have been Roman vs Styles
