Sky Bet Publishes Styles/Bryan Market For Crown Jewel

Sky Bet has published a betting market for a match that has officially been announced for WWE Crown Jewel.

On today's WWE Super Show-Down show, Daniel Bryan won a number one contenders match against The Miz. He'll now go on to face AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at the November 2nd PPV.

As of the time of writing, Styles is a 4/9 favourite. A successful wager on his challenger will pay out at odds of 13/8.

  1. Hey David, i kinda think that Miz vs Bryan might happen at WM for WWE title. That roll up finish to me suggests that feud isn't over yet

I think AJ might lose his title at Royal Rumble to Miz after crossing Punk's 434 day title run

What's your take on it ?

    1. My take is the same as it has always been.

I highly doubt that Bryan vs Miz will be the WWE Championship match at Mania. To me, Miz beating Styles and Bryan winning the Rumble is something that has been fantasy booked by somebody and has grown.

Same goes for the CM Punk title run thing. The 'record' is Bruno Sammartino's to break. Having Styles replace Punk is ineffective. Punk will still be next to him on the list.

Punk isn't the only person with a record that Vince has had issues with in the past. Honky Tonk Man's reign as IC champion wasn't beaten when he and McMahon were at odds. Nor was Demolition's tag team reign (Bill 'Ax' Eadie has had legal fights with McMahon/WWF/WWE for years) beaten when McMahon could have easily done it years before he did.
I would say Bruno and McMahon's issues too, but I'd be crazy to use that as an example considering the length of Bruno's reign.

    2. ^ What I meant in the last paragraph is there's a history of people with title records that have been left untouched at a time when they were at odds with the company. So, anything about McMahon/WWE wanting to break something Punk did (it isn't a record!) is far-fetched imo.

  2. Since Joe might not be WWE champion now, who do you think will dethrone AJ for WWE title ?

    1. Even though I am against the idea of Miz vs Bryan being the title match at Mania, I could see Miz being the guy to topple Styles.

      Orton springs to mind..

    2. Might be too soon for Almas..

  3. I mean if Miz dethrones AJ, then Bryan is the only other babyface on smackdown who might beat Miz for the title
