Betway Explains World Cup Market Being Voided

In a quick follow up to Saturday's post where I wrote about Shane McMahon's World Cup win at Crown Jewel and how it has become a point of controversy with some bookmakers voiding the outright winner market and some settling it as a win in favour of McMahon, I was sent an image from an email that was sent to a Betway customer explaining that his bet on The Miz to win the tournament was voided.

The customer has asked for his name to be withheld, but I've attached the rest of the email image above.

Betway contacted him to explain that - as McMahon was not a selection - that the market was voided.

All customers that bet on the market were contacted the following morning to explain this decision.
