5Dimes' Royal Rumble 2019 Odds For Sunday Morning

I've just taken a look through the 5Dimes Sportsbook's WWE Royal Rumble markets to both see if there have been any adjustments made overnight and to share with you the latest prices to compare as the day goes on.

For the former, there isn't much to report. The only price cuts have occurred in the men's battle royal market. So, this is where I'll start.

Men's Royal Rumble
The selection that are showing shorter prices - when compared to last night - are Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman.
McIntyre is currently +667, which is down from +700. Strowman - who was +260 yesterday - is now at +220.
Seth Rollins remains a -230 favourite.

Women's Royal Rumble
Charlotte Flair is still -140 to be the last woman standing. Following up closely behind Flair is Becky Lynch at +115 and then there's a bit of a leap to Alexa Bliss at +1,500.

Cruiserweight Championship
The present champion, Buddy Murphy, is a -230 favourite to retain the Cruiserweight Title in the fatal four-way that's scheduled for the Kick Off.

As you can see above, the odds for a Hideo Itami win have been fluctuating.

US Championship
Rusev is a -400 favourite to successfully retain the US Championship against former titleholder, Shinsuke Nakamura (+280).

As you can see the betting has been one way traffic with a Rusev win the destination.

WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship
The Miz and Shane McMahon are -280 to topple The Bar in the Smackdown Tag Team Championship bout.

Unlike the US Championship market, there has been some interest in The Bar winning as they fell from +200 into +170 between Wednesday and Thursday. Other than that, the punters have sided with the challengers.

WWE Raw Women's Championship
Ronda Rousey is a -900 fave to keep her title with a decision over Sasha Banks (+500) in the Raw Women's Championship clash.

Rousey had started off at -1,350 but was then backed into -1,500 before Sasha Banks was cut from +700 into +500. The interest in Banks could have been a result of the news that Rousey might be taking a hiatus following WrestleMania 35 and the punters are gambling on the champ taking a loss tonight rather than when it should be done - at Mania.

WWE Smackdown Women's Championship
Asuka is -245 to retain the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship with a W over Becky Lynch. The early punters sided with the challenger, but the later interest has came from Asuka backers.

WWE Championship
Daniel Bryan is -215 to get a result against former champ, AJ Styles (+165). The early round of betting sided with the champ, but Styles' odds were snipped from +210 into +155 between Thursday night and Friday morning. They then landed back on Bryan to move him into the -215 from -195.

WWE Universal Championship
The early birds took Finn Balor to go over Brock Lesnar in the WWE Universal Championship match as he fell from +275 into +200 between the 18th and 23rd of January. Following that, the punters landed on Lesnar, who fell from -280 into -350. As a result, Balor was push up to +250.

Even though I haven't bet on it, I am keen to see how the Universal Championship match plays out because the company has sure made it look like Balor has no chance against Brock Lesnar. The wording in the segment on Raw was noticeable. I might be overthinking it, but I also found the Carmella/R-Truth backstage skit on Smackdown interesting when Carmella asked Truth who he would prefer to face if he were to win the Royal Rumble. Carmella mentioned the possibility of her friend facing Daniel Bryan or AJ Styles for the WWE Championship but then mentioned Brock Lesnar and not Balor. I know the intention was to build to the 'I don't want to go to Sioux Falls City' punchline, but it did make me wonder whether we're being made to discount any hope of a Balor win even if it's by a result where Lesnar retains the strap.

I'll return later on today with another look through these lines.

5Dimes' WWE markets are found under 'Pro Wrestling' on the sportsbook's website. The sportsbook's founder is still missing as of the time of writing - please read this post for most of the details.
