Reigns Added To William Hill's Royal Rumble Market

The William Hill oddsmakers have added Roman Reigns to their WWE Royal Rumble 2019 outright winner market.

As of this evening, the former Universal Champion is 8/1 to win tomorrow night's battle royal.

The inclusion is possibly the result of a tease of a 'Big Surprise' that may - or may not - point to Reigns showing up to compete in the match.

Seth Rollins is presently a 4/7 favourite with the firm.

Reigns took a leave of absence in October after announcing that he had leukaemia.

  1. Interesting. If Roman is in the match, he has to win doesn't he? Can't see WWE bringing him back in a loss. Remember the Daniel Bryan fiasco...

    1. Yeah, if he's in, he'd have to win it.

Don't remind me about the Daniel Bryan fiasco. Kenny Omega has taken over that spot lately!

  2. Roman Reigns to enter at number 29 and win the royal rumble.

It's the most realistic "big surprise".

Rock likely can't due to filming etc, and perhaps it's still a bit early for CM Punk to come back (especially since he told someone to go f**k themselves on Twitter in the last few days.. family show and what not).

    1. If it's Reigns, he has to come in at 30. Everyone will be expecting Truth.

Actually, any big surprise has to come in 30 imo.

    2. Just not sure what they will do with truth. I know they could do the classic "got attacked earlier in the night" but idk

    3. Did you see I joked that he should be stuck at the airport after going on the holiday he won by being the MMC champions? Well.. that won't work, but.. he was in California for the Bellator show last night!

    4. Interesting. I could see a skit where hes stuck at an airport for sure.

    5. Part of me is wanting The Rock aswell.

The Rock vs Brock Lesnar for the Universal title would be a huge wrestlemania match.

Buuuuut it puts Rock in a position where he could get easily injured as Lesnar chucks him about Haha.
