NXT Tag Team Championship Market Published For TakeOver: NY

Sky Bet has added an NXT Tag Team Championship betting market to its coverage of the NXT TakeOver: New York event.

The bookmakers have The War Raiders as 4/9 favourites. Their challengers - Ricochet and Aleister Black - are 13/8.

The new market means that all of the matches scheduled for the show are covered. Sky Bet installed markets for the other matches over the weekend.

There have been adjustments to these markets.

Kairi Sane and Io Shirai were both backed initially. Their odds went down from 12/1 to 10/1 and 8/1 to 7/1 respectively. I should point out that I did back the two selections when they were 12/1 and 8/1.

Sane has since moved in to 6/1 and the champ - Shayna Baszler - has moved from 10/11 into EVS to 5/4 across my visits.

Bianca Belair, who would also not surprise me if she were to win (even though I haven't bet on her), has moved from 6/5 to 5/4.

Matt Riddle is another name I would not be surprised to see win even though I have not bet on him.

As you can see, there are punters out there who appear to be of the same mindset as Riddle has moved in slightly from 7/4 into 13/8.

With Riddle moving in, NXT North American Champion - Velveteen Dream - has moved up to 4/9 from 2/5.

The NXT UK Championship market has been one-sided so far.

Pete Dunne's challenger - Walter - has fallen from 10/11 into 4/9 since Sunday. I wrote on Sunday that I was surprised that Walter opened as an outsider.. He's now near to the price I guessed he would be before a sportsbook published a market for the match.

The NXT Championship market still has Adam Cole at 1/2 to win the vacant strap. A  decision for Johnny Gargano is 6/4.

The event will take place on the Friday before WrestleMania 35 and will air live on The WWE Network.
