Jim Ross Signs For AEW And How This News Should Settle Some Bets

Jim Ross has signed a deal to work with All Elite Wrestling.

This news may be of interest to BetOnline customers who might have had bets on the AEW specials markets that were available to them in the weeks leading up to the launch of the promotion.

There was a Jim Ross special along with some others. In it, gamblers could place wagers on Ross' role in the company once it launched. The selections were:

Commentator +300
General Manager +225
Head Office +175
Will Not Be A Part Of AEW +150

In a December 8th 2018 post in which I wrote about the market, I mentioned that I had a feeling Ross could have covered both a head office and commentator role in the company due to his experience.

AEW's press release states that Ross will take on a role as a 'senior advisor'. The presser also notes that his contract is 'the most lucrative deal in pro wrestling commentary history'. This would imply that he has dual roles in the company.

The market was available from The BetOnline Sportsbook.
