Okada .vs. Moxley Betting Favourite To Be G1 Climax 29 Final And More

With Kazuchika Okada and Jon Moxley now both sitting undefeated at the top of their respective blocks in the G1 Climax 29 tournament, the oddsmakers from Kambi have cut the odds for the two to go all the way through to compete for the trophy.

A market, in which customers can bet on their guess of the August 12th final, was republished hours after Moxley became the first to reach 10 points in B Block. The 'Okada .vs. Moxley' selection - which was 4/1 before the weekend's rounds - has now been moved to EVS by the bookies.

The two wrestlers are favourites to win their blocks in another couple of markets.

Moxley is 13/25 to win B Block. He is four points clear of the wrestlers in joint-second with Juice Robinson a second-favourite in betting at 5/4 (down from 7/2).

Tomohiro Ishii (6 points) and Jay White (4 points) are both in third place in betting at 11/2.

As you can see, Naito's loss to Moxley has moved him out both in the block and in the betting. He is six points away from the leader in the standings and has jumped out from 4/6 favourite to 13/2.

Okada is now a 4/6 favourite to win his block.

The fave was 6/4 when the market was last adjusted over a week ago.

Kota Ibushi, who was the favourite when the market was first installed last month, has had his price reduced since June 20th. He has dropped from 6/4 joint-favourite into 13/10 second-fave.

The outright winner market now has Okada as a 17/20 favourite. His price has been on the decline across all the price updates. The most recent number was 11/4 which was a day before his win over KENTA.

It should be no surprise to see Okada's opponent in the predicted final market as a second-fave to win the tournament. Moxley was 7/2 ahead of this weekend's rounds. He is now down to 5/4.

Other wrestlers whose prices are shorter than Friday are: Ibushi (11/4 to 2/1), Juice Robinson (10/1 to 7/2) and Lance Archer (40/1 to 33/1).

The tournament resumes tomorrow with A Block matches.
