The oddsmakers from Kambi have installed Wrestling Observer star ratings specials for tomorrow night's WWE Survivor Series PPV.
In this post, I'll run through all of the new markets and make a couple of notes about Over/Under markets for this weekend.
Star Ratings Prop
There's a proposition available where clients can gamble whether or not '2 or more matches' will be awarded the highest star rating when Dave Meltzer reviews the event in the next issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
The 'No' is a 4/11 favourite while the 'Yes' is 9/5.
Exact Star Rating of the Highest Rated Match
A regular market - that is available for every PPV - allows customers to bet on what they believe the exact star rating will be of the highest rated match in Meltzer's review. This time, however, there are only three selections to choose from. They are:
4.0 Stars or Less 13/10
4.25 - 4.5 Stars 4/6
4.75 Stars or More 9/4
Head-to-Heads
There are three head-to-head specials for Sunday's card. In these bets, customers have the opportunity to gamble on which - out of two bouts - will get the most stars. A 'Same Star Rating' market exists in case of a draw.
The first market sees the match featuring the secondary titleholders (AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura and Roderick Strong) compete in a triple threat going up against whatever the NXT Championship match will be.
As of this afternoon, the triple threat is EVS, the NXT Championship contest is also EVS and the draw will pay out at odds of 2/1.
In the second head-to-head, the triple threat match with the women's champions is up against the male Survivor Series elimination match.
The ladies three-way is 3/4 to beat the men's elimination match (11/10). If the two bouts get the same number of stars, the 'Same Star Rating' selection will pay out at 5/2.
Finally, the WWE Universal Championship match will compete against the WWE Championship contest. The bookies have given Bray Wyatt .vs. Daniel Bryan odds of 4/5, the Brock Lesnar .vs. Rey Mysterio match is 11/10 and a tie will pay out at 23/10.
Highest Rated Match Of The Night
Customers can also wager on what they believe will end up being the match that Dave Meltzer awards the most stars to.
As you can see below, the US .vs. IC .vs. NXT North American Championship match is a 2/1 favourite.
Notes About Previous Markets
A few days ago, Kambi changed the Over/Under star ratings lines for two matches this weekend.
They moved the WWE Championship match from three stars to three-and-a-half stars. I suppose this might be due to the match now having a no holds barred stipulation applied to it as well as Paul Heyman technically promising that the bout will go longer than we have grown to expect from recent Brock Lesnar matches.
The other line change has been in the one for tonight's contest between Finn Balor and Matt Riddle. Before this week, the line was 4.50 Stars. It is now at 4.25.
