More WrestleMania 36 Champions Markets

The oddsmakers from Kambi added more WrestleMania 36 Champions markets to their coverage of the April 5th event yesterday.

Customers can now place wagers on the person - or persons in some cases - that will be holding the Women's Tag Team Championship, United States Championship, Raw Tag Team Championship, Smackdown Tag Team Championship and Intercontinental Championship once all the matches have been concluded in the early hours of April 6th.

In this post, I'll show you all of the prices that were available when the markets first became available yesterday. For those checking in for the first time, the bookmakers released markets for the other titles a little over a fortnight ago. You can see the early on IN THIS POST.

The current WWE Women's Tag Team Champions - The Kabuki Warriors - are 2/5 favourites to be holding the straps at the conclusion of Mania.

WrestleMania 36 Betting: Women's Tag Team Champions

The United States Championship market has joint-favourites in current champion - Rey Mysterio - and former titleholder, AJ Styles. They're 3/1.

I feel there are two conspicuous absences in this market as I feel Dominick Mysterio and Cain Velasquez should at least be considered in case there is a break-up between father and son, Mysterio and Cain or Mysterio and both Dominick and Velasquez.

Tag teams featuring Rey Mysterio and his son (15/1) and Velasquez (20/1) appear in the market in which customers can gamble on who will be the WWE Raw Tag Team Champions after Mania.

AOP are 7/10 favourites, but - to me I think they'll be mainly used as Seth Rollins' heavies leading into and beyond Mania - so I am compelled to look beyond the faves.

There's a market for the Smackdown tag straps as well. The Revival - who will challenge The New Day for the titles tonight - are 6/4 favourites. The current champs are 3/1.

Of the two tag title markets, I feel The Usos stand out. As both were undrafted, they could potentially land on either brand if they were to return to TV in time for WrestleMania season.

There are conspicuous absences in both the tag title markets. I wouldn't bet on them myself, but - if I were putting names down - I would have placed Tyson Fury and Braun Strowman as selections because of the tease that, if/when Fury makes a return to WWE, he'll do so as a tag team partner of Strowman.

Speaking of Strowman, there's a special for the Intercontinental Championship.

The selection that stood out when I first came across the odds is the one for 'Daniel Bryan'. Before he started feuding with Bray Wyatt, it looked like he was on his way to a program with the current IC champ - Shinsuke Nakamura. Both wrestlers are longtime friends and are on record as wishing they could tangle at a WrestleMania.

With that said, the Wyatt/Bryan thing isn't over. I've handicapped a few ways the feud could go and some of these ideas have Bryan still in the Universal Title picture around Mania season and that would mean the Bryan/Nakamura match won't happen.

Another thing that makes a Bryan/Nakamura match - for the IC strap - at Mania look unlikely is the selection with the shortest odds.

Braun Strowman is a 33/20 favourite. It's understandable to see him top this list considering the most recent plan - before Strowman took time off for an injury - was to work a program with Nakamura.
