Kambi Publishes White/Ibushi Market Plus More

Kambi has posted a market for the Jay White versus Kota Ibushi match that has been confirmed for tomorrow's second night of NJPW WrestleKingdom 14.

The two wrestlers were on the losing end of the championship contests today and - as was advertised ahead of this year's event - will meet up in an additional match tomorrow.

As of the time of writing, the bookmakers have former IWGP Intercontinental Champion, Jay White, a 7/10 favourite.

A decision in favour of Ibushi will pay out at odds of EVS.

Customers will also find a market for the title versus title match that has been confirmed following today's wins from Tetsuya Naito and Kazuchika Okada.

In the months leading into today, including up to this morning, the bookmakers had a market in which clients could gamble on the champion they believed would win the main event of night two. For analysis purposes, I felt it was worth combining the two markets now that we know that Tetusya Naito (IWGP Intercontinental Champion) will meet IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Kazuchika Okada.

You'll see that the IC Champion was 4/5 when the market was first opened on November 10th. Then, by December 3rd, the selection was lowered to 7/10 and remained at this price right up until this morning.

The match winner market lists Naito as an 11/25 favourite.

On the other side of the wagering  - the IWGP Heavyweight Champion was 9/10 initially. This selection was then moved to EVS in Early December.

Okada is currently 8/5 to win tomorrow's contest.
