BetOnlIne's Gronk Specials

Following the news that Rob Gronkowski is negotiating with WWE, the oddsmakers from BetOnline have released specials on the prospect of the retired tight end wrestling a match and, ultimately, winning titles by the end of 2020.

The first market that has gone live today asks customers who will be compete against Gronk in his, and I quote, 'first fight'.

Cesaro is a +300 favourite, but - at +500 - is a name that stands right out to me in the former New England Patriot's best friend, Mojo Rawley.

Other names on the list are:

Robert Roode +350
Dolph Ziggler +400
Sheamus +500
Jinder Mahal +600
Riddick Moss +600
King Corbin +800

Mahal and Moss also sort of stand out considering Mahal was the person Gronk was involved with when he aided Rawley in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33.

Moss was recently associated with Rawley, so there's kind of a link there. Plus, Moss is the current 24/7 Champion so they could have Gronk involved with that title to start off with.

There are two prop markets available.

The first asks whether or not Gronkowski will ever win either the US or Intercontinental Championships.

'No' is a -400 favourite. The option to wager on him winning either of those straps is being offered at +250.

The other prop is about the prospect of Gronk adding a WWE or Universal Championship to his Super Bowl rings.

'Yes' is +600 and the 'No' is -1,750.

Both title markets will be graded on December 31st of this year. Unless, of course, Gronk wins any of those straps before then.

For what it's worth, I think this will end up with Gronk being the host of WrestleMania.

If the event happens, that is.
