Odds For 8/4/20 WWE NXT

Kambi's markets for the two matches advertised for tonight's episode of WWE NXT have now been suspended.

The first market is for the six-person ladder match to determine a number one contender to Charlotte Flair's NXT Women's Championship. 

Going by the betting, most of the selections closed shorter than they opened. The only name that didn't move in was Dakota Kai, who was an 8/5 favourite when the market opened, but ended up out at 4/1.

The key reason why I surmise Kai started out in second, but ended up sharing the spot with other selections is because - when the market opened - Rhea Ripley was champion and now it's Flair. It would make sense for a babyface to challenge Flair for the strap.

Io Shirai started out as an even money favourite, but she fell to 7/10 before the market closed.

Sporting Index has markets for the two bouts in both its spread and fixed odds markets. In the latter, Io Shirai is 4/5.

The other selections' prices are: Dakota Kai 3/1, Candice LeRae 5/1, Mia Yim 5/1, Tegan Nox 14/1 and Chelsea Green 33/1.

The next chapter in the Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano feud will take place tonight when they do battle yet again.

As you can see below, Gargano kicked off as a 3/4 favourite with Kambi, but he was up to EVS before the market closed.

Ciampa, on the other hand, fell from 19/20 into 7/10.

Just like with the women's markets, Sporting Index is covering this one as well. The fixed odds page has Ciampa as a 4/5 fave over the EVS that will pay out for a Gargano victory.
