Five-and-a-quarter stars was given to the bout in Meltzer's report that was published in the most recent issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Going in, Kambi's oddsmakers offered only two selections in the market in which customers could gamble on what the highest rated match on the card would be. The options were 'AEW Tag Team Championship' and 'Any Unlisted Match'.
As you can see below, the eventual winner started out as a 2/5 favourite. Its price rose right up to 8/13 by the day of the show possibly due to the news reports that the Bucks' Matt Jackson had an injury leading into the show.
The losing pick started out at 7/4, but was at 23/20 in the hours ahead of the event.
The second best match of the night went to Kenny Omega versus Adam Page. It received four-and-a-half stars from the reviewer.
With the tag title match being the sole match in the review to earn the highest star rating, 'No' was the winning selection in a prop market which asked customers whether or not there would be 'Joint Winners' in Meltzer's review.
The winning selection started out as an 11/25 favourite, but was backed into 2/5 within a couple of days.
As already mentioned, Omega versus Page was three quarters of a star behind the match of the night and - as a result of this - Kambi settled a different prop in favour of 'Yes'.
In the 'Margin of Victory' market, customers were asked whether there would be a gap of at least half a star between the top match and the next best.
The winning selection closed at 27/25 after starting out at 17/20.
'Yes' was the winner in a third proposition market that was written up for the PPV. Kambi asked whether there would be four matches or more on the Full Gear card that would get at least four stars from the Observer editor.
Darby Allin's AEW TNT Championship victory over Cody Rhodes and the main event - which saw Jon Moxley successfully retain the AEW World Championship against Eddie Kingston in an 'I Quit' match - both scored four-and-a-quarter stars.
Those two bouts, added to the best and second highest scoring match in Meltzer's review, meant that customers who evidently backed 'Yes' had bets settled in their favour.
As you'll see below, the eventual winner was initially a 3/5 favourite. It was backed into 13/25 by the following morning and was then down to 11/25 a day after that.
Coincidentally, the two four-and-a-quarter star matches were paired off against each other in a head-to-head special in which clients were given the opportunity to gamble on which bout they thought would receive the most stars in Dave Meltzer's report.
From the betting, it would appear that the customers felt that the main event would get the most stars as the selection was moved into 4/6 within a couple of days and was then into 11/20 on the evening of the event.
The odds for the eventual winner - 'Same Star Rating' - did drop initially as it was moved from 7/4 into 33/20. However, by Saturday evening, the selection had risen to 2/1.
A second head-to-head had MJF .vs. Chris Jericho and the AEW Women's Championship contest square off to see which would get the most stars in the review.
Hikaru Shida's title retention against Nyla Rose received three-and-a-quarter stars. It was beaten slightly by MJF's win over Jericho, which earned three-and-a-half stars from the reviewer.
As per usual, Kambi released over/under star ratings markets for most of the bouts on the card. The lines, stars, and results can be found in the table below.
