A Look At Sky Bet's Markets For AEW DoN 2021

The earliest betting markets to be published for AEW Double Or Nothing 2021 were those that were created by the oddsmakers from Sky Bet last weekend.

I've been keeping a regular note of the prices since the markets were installed, so thought I would take a look through each match in the order they appear on Sky Bet's website and point out how the prices have changed since I first began to follow them.

AEW World Championship
All of the adjustments I've been able to follow have sided with Kenny Omega to end up retaining the AEW World Championship against Orange Cassidy and PAC when they all meet up in the three-way.

The champ was a 1/2 favourite when I first came across the market on Saturday May 22nd. Omega's opponents were both available at 7/2 each.

Omega was down to 2/5 by the following day and moved into 2/9 on Monday. He was then at 1/6 when the market returned yesterday morning and was a shorter 1/8 last night. He remains at that price as of the time of writing.

Stadium Stampede Match
I was surprised to see Sky Bet place The Inner Circle as the underdogs when the market for the Stadium Stampede Match was available.

With the stipulation that the faction will have to break up if they lose to The Pinnacle tonight, doubled with the fact that the team lost to the Pinnacle in the Blood and Guts match on May 5th, it would be fair to guess that tonight's match is where The Inner Circle gets the W.

Even if that turns out to be an incorrect assumption on my part, the early favourites should have been The Inner Circle going by the May 5th result and with the stip working against them. With that said, the betting has finally placed the babyfaces as faves. They've dropped from the early 2/1 and are now at 2/5.

The Pinnacle, who were 4/11 favourites to begin with, have now been pushed out to 7/4.

AEW Women's World Championship
Britt Baker - who will challenge Hikaru Shida for the AEW Women's World Championship - has been the punters' choice to pick up the win. Her price started off at 1/3 a little over a week ago and was moved into 1/5 when the market was republished yesterday. By yesterday night, those odds had plummeted into 1/10.

The champion, who was 9/4 last week, is now up to 11/2.

AEW World Tag Team Championship
Both of the teams in the match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship are currently available at 5/6 apiece. This is after Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston were lowered from EVS into 5/6 a couple of days after the market was installed.

The Young Bucks started out as 8/11 favourites.

TNT Championship
Miro was a short 1/6 favourite to successfully retain the TNT Championship against Lance Archer when Sky Bet's market for the bout was initially installed.

As you'll see below, the odds movement has been in favour of the titleholder as he is now down into 1/8 after first being moved into 1/7 yesterday morning.

A decision for Archer will now pay out at 9/2. This is up from the early number of 7/2.

Casino Battle Royale
Usually, I would have done a spreadsheet table for the Casino Battle Royale, but have been making handwritten notes for Sky Bet's market.

The market was first installed sometime on Tuesday with Christian Cage a 5/2 fave. It's worth pointing out that the option to punt on the twenty-first participant (The Joker) was only possible as of my most recent visit to the website. 'Mystery Participant' is 5/1 (I don't know how reliable this information is, but I've seen a lot of talk online that Mark Henry could be the surprise).

Anyway, back to the market - Christian Cage's price was down to EVS when the market was republished yesterday. He is now at 8/13 as of this morning.

You'll see below that Brian Pillman Jr. is also a name whose price has lowered. He kicked off at 50s, but has lowered into 16/1.

Sting and Darby Allin .vs. Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page
Sting and Darby Allin were 1/5 favourites to beat Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page (10/3) when the market for their meeting was first priced up.

The betting has now moved Sting and Allin into 1/6 while their rivals have been pushed out to 7/2.

Adam 'Hangman' Page .vs. Brian Cage
When Sky Bet's market for the Hangman Page versus Brian Cage match was out last week, the former was an 8/13 favourite and Cage was 6/5. Within a day, the favourite had dropped into 1/2 with Cage moved to 6/4.

The market returned yesterday with Page at 1/3 in the morning. He appears to have been backed into 1/5 by the evening.

As a result of Page's descent, Brian Cage has now risen to 10/3.

Cody Rhodes .vs. Anthony Ogogo
The match that I'm keen to see the result of the most on tonight's card is the one between Cody Rhodes and Anthony Ogogo.

Ogogo was 1/2 to Cody's 6/4 last Saturday. By the following evening, the underdog's price has dipped into 11/8 while Ogogo's was moved up to 8/15.

The market was republished yesterday morning with Rhodes once again down by a tad. This time, he was at 6/5 to Anthony Ogogo's 8/13. However, the last two adjustments have been in favour of the former Olympic and pro boxer as his price was cut into 4/7 by 11:00PM BST yesterday and was into 8/15 by 9:45AM BST today.

A decision in favour of Cody will now pay out at 11/8. This is up from last night's 5/4.
