A Look At Kambi's Observer Markets For AEW Double Or Nothing 2021

Kambi has published Wrestling Observer star ratings markets for tomorrow night's AEW PPV.

There are over/under markets for seven of the matches scheduled to take place at Double or Nothing 2021. The matches, and their respective lines, are:

A couple of markets have already been adjusted since I first came across them this morning.

As you'll see below, it appears as though the gamblers expect the 'Hangman' Page versus Brian Cage match to receive '3.75 Stars or More' when Dave Meltzer reviews the match in the next issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

The selection has been lowered from 3/4 into 13/20 while the 'Under' option is now 11/10 from 19/20.

The market for the star rating of the TNT Championship match is the second to have been adjusted since this morning.

'3.75 Stars or More' has also dropped into 13/20 albeit from 4/5. The 'Under 3.75 Stars' selection has been pushed from 9/10 to 11/10.

There are other Observer specials available for tomorrow night.

There are three head-to-head specials. In the first, customers are asked whether Kenny Omega's AEW World Championship defence against Orange Cassidy and PAC would get more stars than The Young Bucks' AEW Tag Team Championship defence against Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston.

The three-way is a 9/10 favourite, the option to bet on the tag match to get the most stars of the two contests is 11/10 and the selection which will win if both matches receives the same amount of stars is 2/1.

The two remaining head-to-head markets have been adjusted.

Customers appear to have punted on Miro versus Lance Archer to get more stars than the Darby Allin and Sting versus Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky match because 'AEW TNT Championship' has lowered from 19/20 into 17/20.

The tag match is now up from 21/20 to 23/20 and the 'Same Star Rating' selection has risen to 41/20 from 2/1.

As you can see, in the table above, Britt Baker's AEW Women's Championship challenge - against Hikaru Shida - is up against 'Hangman' Page versus Brian Cage. The former has dropped from 17/20 into 4/5 while Page versus Cage has risen from 11/10 to 6/5.

Interestingly, the 'Same Star Rating' has slipped from 43/20 into 21/10.

A couple of prop bets have also been released.

In the 'Joint Winner' prop, customers are asked whether two or more matches will receive the most stars in Dave Meltzer's review of the Pay-Per-View.

'No' is a 21/50 favourite over the 33/20 being offered to those who may want to gamble on 'Yes'.

The other prop market is the 'Margin of Victory' which asks whether there will be a gap of at least half a star between the top rated match and the next best. Those who think there will be a schism of 0.5 or higher will find 'Yes' at 13/10 while those who believe there won't be a half-a-star difference can get 13/25 for 'No'.

It's worth noting that, if there are two matches in Meltzer's review which receive the most amount of stars, 'No' will be settled as the winning selection.
