Now that it's SummerSlam Sunday Saturday, I have gathered all of the notes I've collected from visiting most of the betting websites with markets for the event and will share with you what I've noticed over the past few weeks.
Before I fully begin, I noted last night that 5Dimes' markets have now been published. As of the time of writing, only two of those markets have changed. Therefore, this post will only focus on those two bouts. You can read YESTERDAY'S POST to see the odds for the other matches on the card.
Alexa Bliss .vs. Eva Marie
The most active market for the Alexa Bliss versus Eva Marie match has been the one that is available from BetOnline.
It opened earlier this week with Bliss a -400 favourite. This price has descended to -500 since then.
Sheamus .vs. Damian Priest
BetOnline's market for the US Championship match is also the one that has been the most active out of the sportsbooks I have been following.
As you can see - Damian Priest opened as a -200 favourite to beat the current titleholder, Sheamus. The decline has resulted in the challenger landing into -300.
A win for Sheamus, which was initially priced at +150, will now pay out at +200.
Sky Bet has also seen interest in a win for Damian Priest. Its book has lowered the favourite from 1/2 into 2/5 earlier this week.
Kambi began to take wagers on the contest a little over two days ago. As of the time of writing, the market is unchanged with Priest a 2/5 fave over Sheamus' 7/4.
WWE Raw Women's Championship Triple Threat Match
Sky Bet's market for the WWE Raw Women's Championship match was published at the start of the month. It opened with Nikki A.S.H. a 4/5 favourite over Charlotte Flair (13/8) and Rhea Ripley (5/1).
The first adjustment I noticed came in favour of Ripley as her price was snipped into 9/2 while the champion's odds were moved up to 5/6.
The market spent a short time off the board, despite Sky Bet's other SummerSlam markets being republished. When it returned there was no apparent change until Thursday of this week when Nikki A.S.H was lowered back into 4/5 while Charlotte Flair - who had remained 13/8 despite the other two selections being adjusted - was moved up to 7/4.
Interestingly, the market from BetOnline saw two selections lowered at the same time.
The titleholder started out at -115 when betting began late last month. Her price dropped into -125 by August 4th.
Charlotte Flair - who kicked off with the longer odds at +175 - was lowered into +150. As a result, Rhea Ripley drifted out from +150 second-favourite to +250.
Kambi's market for the match has only been available since earlier this week. However, it has been active with two of the participants backed.
The earliest adjustments went the way of Charlotte Flair. The latest has seen Nikki A.S.H's price drop.
The Usos .vs. The MysteriosBetOnline released its market for the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship on August 10th. The champions were -400 favourites over The Mysterios (+250).
A week later, I noticed that The Usos' price had lowered into -450. Therefore, this moved Rey and Dominik out to +275.
Another adjustment was made by 10AM BST yesterday morning when The Mysterios' price was snipped back into +250 and The Usos returned to their opening price of -400.
AJ Styles and Omos .vs. RK-Bro
The majority of the markets for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship match have seen RK-Bro seemingly backed.
BetOnline's book opened with the challengers as -200 favourites. By yesterday morning, their decline had reached -350.
As a result, AJ Styles and Omo - who opened +150 - have risen to +225.
Sky Bet listed RK-Bro as 1/3 faves when I first began to follow the market on Wednesday. By yesterday morning, the team had dropped into 1/4 following a stop at 2/7.
Kambi has also cut the challengers' odds. They were 2/7 on Wednesday night, but had moved into 11/50 by the following morning. Randy Orton and Riddle were then at 1/5 when I checked in yesterday evening. The prices were unchanged as of 10:20AM BST today.
Drew McIntyre .vs. Jinder Mahal
When BetOnline first adjusted its market for the Drew McIntyre versus Jinder Mahal match, the oddsmakers cut Drew McIntyre from -500 into -600 favourite within the first day.
McIntyre's drop meant that Jinder Mahal was pushed to +350 from +300.
As you can see, in the table above, Mahal's price was cut into +250 sometime before 10:00AM BST yesterday. This move pushed McIntyre to -400 favourite.
Both Sky Bet and Kambi have lowered Jinder Mahal since their respective markets were released.
Sky Bet had Mahal as an 11/4 underdog on Monday evening, but - as of today - he is a shorter 9/4.
Kambi's book kicked off with Mahal at 3/1. He remains an underdog, but is now down to 19/10 after moving in from 9/4 yesterday evening.
To contrast this late interest in a Jinder Mahal win, from all three of the sportsbooks noted, one of 5Dimes' only market moves - since the company's SummerSlam coverage began yesterday - has sided against Mahal.
The oddsmakers from 5Dimes has McIntyre as a -260 fave yesterday. By this morning, that price had reduced to -300.Mahal has drifted from +180 to +220 at 5Dimes.
Edge .vs. Seth Rollins
The second, and only other (for now?), market adjustment since 5Dimes began taking bets on tonight's show has been in the market for Edge versus Seth Rollins.
Rollins - who was a +200 underdog to begin with - is now into +170.
Edge remains the favourite. However, his price rose from -280 to -230 overnight.
BetOnline has also made one adjustment in its market for the match. It too has sided with the underdog with Rollins dropping from +200 into +175 between Thursday night and Friday morning.
Kambi's market has been the most active of those I have followed. Just like with 5Dimes and BetOnline, the punters are seemingly going for the betting upset with Rollins' price lowered three times since Wednesday. After starting out at 2/1, he is now 6/4.
It's worth noting that, even though all the books have sided with Rollins, the most recent adjustment that Sky Bet made to its market saw Edge move in from 4/11 back to his earlier 1/3.
Bianca Belair .vs. Sasha Banks
Kambi's market contradicts the latest moves for Banks because Bianca Belair has recently moved in slightly from 11/20 to 1/2 while her challenger's odds have increased from 13/10 to 7/5.
Bobby Lashley .vs. Bill Goldberg
There is absolutely nothing to point to in regards to any movements in the markets for the WWE Championship match.
All of the tables I have for the match have no changes whatsoever.
Sky Bet - which went live right at the start of the month - still has Lashley at 1/6 and Goldberg at 7/2,
BetOnline's market opened on August 10th with the champ a -600 favourite over the +350 for Goldberg.
Kambi - which opened on August 18th - has the favourite at 1/8 to the challenger's 4/1.
Bobby Lashley remains a -750 favourite and Goldberg at +450 in the 5Dimes market which was put up yesterday.
Roman Reigns .vs. John Cena
There have been adjustments made to a couple of markets for the main event of the evening.
Sky Bet's market has been the most active.
Interestingly, the adjustment would have been made after Roman Reigns announced on Smackdown that - if he doesn't beat Cena - he'll leave WWE.
