BetOnline Publishes G1 Climax Block Markets

The oddsmakers from the BetOnline Sportsbook have added new NJPW G1 Climax 33 markets to their coverage of this year's tournament.

Before today, customers were able to wager on an outright winner market. Joining that special are four markets allowing punters to gamble on the winners of each block.

In this post, I'll show you the odds for each market and then cover a change that has been made to a selection in the outright special.

As you can see below, the current IWGP World Champion - SANADA - is a favourite to take A Block. He's -500. Following him is NOAH's Kaito Kiyomiya, who's a +200 second favourite.

Last year's winner - Kazuchika Okada - is BetOnline's favourite to top B Block. He's -200. Following behind him is last year's finalist - Will Ospreay - at even money.

Bullet Club leader - David Finlay - tops the market for C Block winner at odds of -300. Then it's Shingo Takagi at +250 and Tama Tonga, who's +350.

Zack Sabre Jr., who is BetOnline's favourite to win the entire tournament, is at -130 in the market for the D Block winner. Unsurprisingly, Tetsuya Naito - who's second in the outright market - is in close second here with odds of -110.

In a post published yesterday, I covered NJPW's announcement of the groups and colour-coded the outright market. Since publishing the post, Will Ospreay's odds to win the entire tourney have drifted out to +350. He was previously +300.

The adjustment has now been recorded in the table I have produced to keep a note of the prices. You can expand this by clicking on the table below.

All prices were correct as of 7PM BST today.
