New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced the blocks each participant will be assigned to for this year's G1 Climax tournament.
With this detail now confirmed, I have colour-coded the odds table for the outright market that is available from BetOnline.
The most notable thing of all is a couple of the top three wrestlers in the market; favourite - Zack Sabre Jr. - and joint-second, Tetsuya Naito, find themselves in D Block.
The second item which stood out to me is that Kazuchika Okada and Will Ospreay find themselves competing in B Block.
If you recall from previous posts, including this one, I have had a feeling they will do a redemption story with Will Ospreay following his loss to Okada in last year's final. Ospreay and Okada are set to wrestle their block match on July 27th.
The final block match for Okada will be against Tanga Loa while Ospreay will duel with El Phantasmo. These will occur during the August 6th date from Osaka.
Here is a breakdown of each block along with each wrestlers' odds to win the entire tournament. Below that will be the table with each selection assigned the colour representing their respective block.
