The main takeaway I noticed from yesterday's visit to the website was that Tetsuya Naito has once again creeped up the board.
Naito, who picked up another two points in the penultimate round of D Block's group contests, is now on eight along with Jeff Cobb and Zack Sabre Jr. He holds a win over ZSJ if qualifying into the playoffs goes down to tiebreakers, but he does not have a victory over Cobb.
BetOnline now lists the Los Ingobernables de Japon leader as a joint +300 second-favourite. Naito's previous price was +600. Before that, the selection was +1,000.
ZSJ is one of the other names in the +300 zone. His odds have increased from +200 following D Block's shakeup with Naito on the rise and Cobb dropping potential points with losses against Toru Yano and Hirooki Goto.
The final joint second-favourite is last year's G1 Winner - Kazuchika Okada - who has been at +300 since earlier this week.
The favourite remains Will Ospreay at +200.
Prices correct both as of August 2nd and at the time of publishing on August 3rd.
