This news has resulted in the former All Elite Wrestling TBS Champion becoming a betting favourite to win the 2024 Women's Royal Rumble.
I first noticed Cargill on Sky Bet's market for January's battle royal not long after news of her departure from AEW was doing the rounds. At that time, she was priced at 10/1.
Upon WWE's confirmation, I revisited the Sky Bet website and noticed WWE's new signing at a shorter 6/1. However, late yesterday evening, that price had shortened to the point where Sky Bet listed Cargill as its 3/1 favourite.
I had backed Cargill with the sportsbook at 6/1 placing the selection in a couple of doubles. One was with Cody Rhodes to win the men's Rumble and the second with The Rock to do so.
As of the time of writing, Paddy Power is offering the better price on a Cargill Rumble victory.
The Floridian is 10/3 with the Irish bookmaking company. The selection was at that very same price when news of Cargill potentially joining WWE was circulating earlier this month.
