WrestleMania XL Betting Notes For Thursday

BetOnline has published a market for the tag team six-pack ladder match that is scheduled for this weekend's WrestleMania.

The bout is set to take place on Saturday's card and will see Finn Balor and Damian Priest, from The Judgment Day, defend the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against The Awesome Truth (+110), DIY (+250), A-Town Down Under (+400), The New Day (+700) and New Catch Republic (+800).

The titleholders are +400.

WWE WrestleMania XL - Tag Titles

As I wrote in yesterday's post, the way this match is being advertised on WWE TV is strongly hinting that the match will conclude with the tag titles split up between two teams. That's because the company has indicated that the match will continue once one pair of straps have been collected.

With that in mind, I find it quite brave to price up a market for this contest as it will surely lead to controversy of some kind.

European sportsbooks also have markets for this match. To contrast the selection order with BetOnline, here's an example of the Paddy Power and Sky Bet offerings.

Favourites: The Awesome Truth
2nd Faves: A-Town Down Under
3rd: DIY
Joint-4th: New Catch Republic
Joint-4th: The New Day
6th: The Judgment Day

As well as the new addition to BetOnline's WrestleMania coverage, a couple of previously published markets have changed since yesterday's full update.

The Intercontinental Championship market has been changed in favour of Gunther because his odds to beat Sami Zayn have moved from -150 into -160.

A decision for the challenger is now at +120. That's up slightly from yesterday's number of +110.

The second market is for the tag team match between

When I wrote about the market yesterday, I pointed out that Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar had moved into -250 from -200 while Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee had been pushed up from +150 to +170.

As of right now, the Latino World Order teammates have fallen back into +150 leaving Dominik and Escobar to return to the position of -200 favourites.
