AEW All Out 2021: Results Of Kambi's Observer Markets

The recent issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, which came out last weekend, had Dave Meltzer's review of AEW All Out 2021. This meant that all of the star ratings betting markets - published by Kambi for the PPV - were settled by the bookmaking company.

The most notable thing about Meltzer's coverage of the event is that the AEW World Tag Team Championship match, which saw the Lucha Brothers beat the Young Bucks for the straps inside a steel cage, was given five-and-three-quarter stars.

This result means that Kambi settled 'AEW Tag Team Championship' as the winning selection in the market which allowed customers to gamble on what they thought would be the 'Highest Rated Match of the Night'.

Opening as a 4/6 favourite - when the market was published on 2nd September - the eventual winner's price began to drift due to apparent interest in the second favourite: the selection for Kenny Omega's AEW World Championship defence against Christian Cage. The option moved in from 4/1 to 11/10 across the three days of availability.

By the day of the show, 'AEW Tag Team Championship' was an 11/10 joint-favourite alongside what turned out to be the second best match of the night with four-and-a-quarter stars.

A prop market, which asked whether or not there would be a match on the card which ultimately scored five stars or more, was settled with 'Yes' winning as a starting 13/10 underdog. As you'll see - in the table below - the selection was backed in the days leading into the PPV and was down to EVS a few hours before betting was suspended.

With there being a difference of one-and-a-half stars between the tag match and Omega .vs. Cage, Kambi settled another prop market, this time asking whether there would be a half-a-star or more difference between the top match and the next best, with 'Yes' declared as the winning selection. It was 8/5.

The 'Joint Winners' prop market - in which the bookmaker asked whether one or more matches on the card would receive the highest number of stars in Meltzer's review - was settled with 'No' winning as a 4/9 favourite.

The Omega versus Cage main event featured in a head-to-head market in which customers gambled whether or not it would receive more stars than CM Punk versus Darby Allin or tie for an equal number.

Punk's winning meeting against Allin received three-and-three-quarters from Meltzer. Therefore, 'AEW World Championship' was the winning pick.

Going by the odds movement, it appears as though some customers were on the correct side because the selection was backed from EVS into 8/13 over the three days the market was available.

Two other head-to-head specials could have been found for the PPV.

In one, the four stars Jon Moxley and Satoshi Kojima picked up for their bout was enough to win as a 6/5 second favourite behind Chris Jericho versus MJF, which received a quarter of a star less than its opposition.

The tie came into play in the head-to-head between Miro versus Eddie Kingston and Brit Baker versus Kris Statlander.

Both title matches were given four stars apiece in Dave Meltzer's report. As a result, 'Same Star Rating' was graded as the 7/4 winner.

The most popular star ratings markets - the Over/Unders - were also settled over the weekend when the current issue was released. The lines and results for all of the matches can be found below.

You'll notice that, of all those matches, only five received a score of five stars or more. This result was important for the settlement of a proposition market which asked whether there would be at least six matches with a score of four stars or more.

'No' started out as a 4/9 favourite over the 6/4 for 'Yes'. A couple of days later, it was apparently backed into 2/5 moving 'Yes' out to 7/4. However, a day later, both selections returned to where they started off due to the eventual loser seemingly being backed into 6/4.

I'll return to the star ratings posts following the release of Dave Meltzer's report for WWE Extreme Rules 2021.

Kambi has already released O/U markets for the matches that are currently being advertised and one that is no longer on the card.

Roman Reigns versus Finn Balor has a high line which is set at 4.5 Stars. It's followed by Damian Priest versus Sheamus and Becky Lynch versus Bianca Belair, which both have their respective over/under lines set at 3.75 Stars.

For what it's worth, and it isn't worth much anymore, the bookmakers also set Bobby Lashley's WWE Championship defence against Randy Orton at 3.75 stars.

The WWE Raw Women's Championship match between Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss has a low O/U of 2 stars.

Darby Allin Wins In BetOnline's Punk AEW Market Plus More

With CM Punk finally wrestling his first match, as an AEW wrestler at last night's All Out 2021 PPV, the oddsmakers from BetOnline will now settle a special market that was produced which allowed customers to gamble on who they thought would be his first official opponent.

The winning selection is Darby Allin, who lost to Punk in last night's bout. 

When the market was initially priced up, BetOnline offered Allin as a +200 joint-favourite alongside Bryan Danielson.

Allin's became a sole favourite within three days when the firm cut his odds into +100. From there, he became an odds-on fave when his odds dropped into -125 by the evening of August 16th. They then fell into -200 a couple of days after that. 

The aforementioned Bryan Danielson made his first appearance under the AEW spotlight last night by interrupting Kenny Omega's post-match celebration following a main event win over Christian Cage.

With it looking likely that Danielson's first opponent could be the AEW World Champion, A second market - this time allowing customers to punt on whoever will be Danielson's first official AEW opponent - could be end up being settled with Omega as the eventual winner.

When it was first installed, the market had Omega as a +450 second-favourite. It doesn't look like we'll have to wait much longer to get an idea on how this one will be settled.

AEW All Out 2021 Closing Favourites

Here are the AEW All Out 2021 closing betting favourites from betting services like BetOnline, Sky Bet and Kambi. 

The names are ranked in order of strength starting with the selection which had the shortest odds.

I did not put the Women's Casino Battle Royale closing favourite because there was a contrast between BetOnline and the two other firms.

BetOnline closed with Thunder Rosa a favourite. However, there was evident late money coming in on Tay Conti. Other selections that declined over the two days betting was available were 'Field (Mystery Entry)' and Anna Jay.

Sky Bet and Kambi both had the Mystery Participant/Joker at the top of their respective markets. However, just like BetOnline, they also had late cuts for Tay Conti. For example; Sky Bet had her at 20/1 yesterday. However, before close, I noticed the selection was 5/1.

Those looking to still wager on the event can find markets on the 5Dimes Website.

BetOnline Adjusts Some AEW All Out 2021 Markets

Here are some things I've noticed from a revisit to the AEW All Out 2021 markets on the BetOnline website.

Earlier today, I mentioned that Anna Jay's odds to win the women's Casino Battle Royale were once again locked which meant that customers were unable to gamble on her at the time. The lock has now been lifted.

You'll see that she is now available at +700. This is down from the most recent price I have of +1,000.

Please note that there is an error in the date of the most recent price changes. It should read 4:20PM instead of 10AM

Another selection in the battle royale market, which is shorter than it was at the time of my previous update, is the one for a Tay Conti win. It has lowered from +700 into +550.

A few of the regular match winner markets are showing different prices than this morning.

AEW TNT Champion - Miro - has once again dropped. This time he has moved in from -500 to -800. This change places Eddie Kingston out to +450 from +300.

Jon Moxley is now a -700 favourite for his meeting with Satoshi Kojima. He was most recently favoured with a price of -600. Kojima is now +400 from +350.

MJF's price to get a win over Chris Jericho has shortened once more.

As you can see, he is now at +175. I had previously noted that the selection had dipped from +225 into +200. 

A win for Jericho will now be settled at -250. This is up from -300.

Betting Odds Notes For AEW All Out 2021

I have been following the AEW All Out 2021 betting markets that are available from a trio of sportsbooks since they were first priced up. Here are are all the things I've been able to notice now that we've reached the day of the event.

The markets I have followed are from BetOnline, Sky Bet and those from Kambi.

10-Man Tag Team Match
From the sports betting websites I've followed, the only sites with a market for the pre-show match are those which offer Kambi's coverage.

The adjustments have going the way of the match favourites (Best Friends and Jurassic Express) as their price has dropped from 1/4 into 1/8 over the course of three days. 

A win for the team led by Matt Hardy will currently pay out at odds of 4/1. This is up from 5/2.

Paul Wight .vs. QT Marshall
Paul Wight has been the favourite to win his match with QT Marshall with all of the sportsbooks I've covered.

Sky Bet initially had him at 1/6 to Marshall's 7/2 when I first came across the market on Wednesday. The market was unchanged from there right up to this morning's visit, when I noticed Wight had lowered into 1/8 while his opponent rose to 9/2.

BetOnline has made no changes to its Wight .vs. Marshall market with the former a -600 fave over Marshall's +350.

Kambi's market has been the most interesting of the three because the later changes have been siding with Marshall. I believe there is good reason because - on this week's AEW Dynamite - the Gunn Club turned heel by attacking Wight. Could this act lead to an out for Wight losing his first match in AEW?

Jon Moxley .vs. Satoshi Kojima
The markets for Jon Moxley's bout with New Japan's Satoshi Kojima have all been siding with the opening favourite - Moxley - getting the win. All firms list Moxley as a short fave.

Sky Bet is now offering 1/20. This is way down from the 1/6 I found him at on Wednesday evening. Kambi also lists Moxley at 1/20. He had started out at 1/8 when its market went live earlier this week.

BetOnline has Moxley at the equivalent of 1/6. He had started off at -500 on Wednesday, but was moved into the -600 sometime before 11:15AM BST on Friday.

Women's Casino Battle Royale
Of the companies with markets for the women's Casino Battle Royale, the one offered by Kambi is the most up to date because it has taken the injured Julia Hart off the board and added her replacement - Skye Blue (66/1).

As you can see above, Kambi has evidently been cutting the price for a win by whoever will be the twenty-first entrant in the match (rumoured to be Ruby Soho). The 'Joker' selection was a 2/1 joint-favourite alongside Thunder Rosa when I first began to follow the market on Thursday morning. From yesterday morning, the Joker moved into sole favourite and has been on the decline ever since. The selection is now at 7/10.

Another selection which is shorter than yesterday's update is the one for a victory by Jade Cargill. It had started out at 5/1, but rose to 7/1. However, it's now back to its initial price.

Sky Bet's market was installed yesterday. You'll notice four selections have dropped between last night and this morning.

The Joker selection is listed as 'Mystery Participant' and has moved into 13/8 favouritism from 10/3. This moved Thunder Rosa out from 5/2 to 3/1.

Just like recently with Kambi, Jade Cargill has also lowered with Sky Bet. She is now 4/1 from 9/2. 

Tay Conti is now 16/1 from 20s and Anna Jay is now in from 12/1 to 10/1.

Anna Jay is a name standing out in BetOnline's market for the match.

When I wrote about BetOnline's market yesterday, I pointed out that 'Field (Mystery Entry)' and 'Anna Jay' were both locked when I first came across the market on Friday morning. This is most often due to the sportsbook taking bets on the selection and they are kept off the board until new odds are applied. You'll notice that Anna Jay is once again locked as of this morning. When I last noticed the selection available, it was +1,000 but it had been a higher +2,200 once it was unlocked.

Miro .vs. Eddie Kingston
The markets for the AEW TNT Championship Match have seen Miro go from short-priced favourite to even shorter priced fave.

Sky Bet had the champion at 1/6 on Wednesday. By the following afternoon, the company had cut him into 1/7. He's now at 1/10.

With Miro's price descending with Sky Bet, his challenger - Eddie Kingston - has drifted out from 7/2 to 11/2.

Even though Kambi's market for the match was created after Sky Bet's, it too has seen Miro plummet. The selection was 7/20 on Thursday morning, but was down to 1/9 by this morning.

Miro is a slightly better 1/5 (-500) with BetOnline. He had started out at 1/4 (-400) before moving in sometime between Friday night and yesterday morning.

Britt Baker .vs. Kris Statlander
Another short-priced favourite is AEW Women's World Champion - Britt Baker.

BetOnline started off with Baker a -300 favourite to defeat Kris Statlander (+200) to retain her title. By the following evening, the sportsbook had snipped the price into -400 and did so once again by the following morning when the odds were slashed in half.  Upon this morning's visit, I noticed a Britt Baker win was an even shorter -1,200.

With Baker's price plummeting, the challenger has moved all the way out to +600.

Similarly, Sky Bet's market for the match saw Baker descend from 1/4 into 1/33 over the last four days while Kambi slashed Baker's price from 1/20 into 1/50 between Thursday and Saturday.

Statlander is currently a top price 12/1 with Sky Bet after starting out at 11/4 while Kambi lists the challenger at 9s. 

Young Bucks .vs. Lucha Brothers
BetOnline's market for the AEW World Tag Team Championship cage match saw the Young Bucks' challengers - The Lucha Bros. - fall from underdogs into slight favourites.

Opening as +160 dogs on Wednesday, the challengers fell into +120 by the following evening. Hours later their drop saw them reach -130 and now, as of this morning, they're into -135.

The Bucks' price, which started at -225, has moved to -105.

Both Sky Bet and Kambi snipped their respective odds for the Lucha Brothers sometime between yesterday and this morning.

Sky Bet is offering the better price of the three firms because the Lucha Brothers are still underdogs in that market.

Chris Jericho .vs. MJF
When BetOnline's market for the Chris Jericho versus MJF match was first installed, the first changes that were made to it were in favour of the former.

Jericho, who started at -250 on Wednesday, was at -300 on Thursday evening before dropping into -350 by the following morning.

With Jericho moving in, MJF rose from +175 underdog to +225. He is now into +200 following a dip overnight.

Last night's move now places Jericho back to -300 favourite with BetOnline.

Over here in Europe, all of the markets' adjustments have sided with MJF. 

Sky Bet now lists MJF at 5/4. He was 7/4 on Wednesday.

Kambi first placed MJF as a 2/1 underdog. His decline now seems him at a shorter 6/5.

Despite the interest in an MJF win, Chris Jericho has remained a favourite with both Sky Bet and Kambi. 

CM Punk .vs. Darby Allin
Kambi was the first firm to publish a market for arguably the most anticipated match on tonight's card.

When it opened, CM Punk was a 1/9 favourite over Darby Allin (17/4). Then - when the market reopened on Thursday morning - I noticed that Allin was a slightly shorter 15/4 with Punk up to 1/7.

Punk has declined since then and was moved into 1/10 yesterday afternoon after starting off the day at 1/8. 

Sky Bet has adjusted its market a couple of times for Darby Allin. The most recent was overnight when his price moved in from 9/2 to 4/1.

Punk is currently 1/7, which is slightly up from the 1/8 customers would have found him both on August 31st and yesterday morning.

No sign of interest in a Darby Allin win has occurred when observing BetOnline's market. 

Punk started out at -400 on August 24th. His price was cut into -500 three days later and was later dropped into -600 sometime before Friday morning. The selection was moved to -700 overnight.

With Punk's odds descending on the BetOnline website, Darby Allin has risen from +250 to +400.

Kenny Omega .vs. Christian Cage
I'm going to close out this post with an easy one. All websites have seen Kenny Omega's prices to retain the AEW World Championship with a decision against Christian Cage plummet.

BetOnline's market opened on August 18th with the titleholder a -370 favourite over Cage's +235. Omega has since dropped all the way down to -800.

The next company to open a market for the title match was Kambi. Opening on August 22nd, it listed Omega at 2/13 and Cage at 7/2. By yesterday afternoon, the champ's price has descended to 1/20.

Sky Bet's market - which was released earlier this week - has also seen the favourite backed from a short-price into a far shorter price. 

As you'll see below, Omega was 1/6 on Tuesday afternoon. He now rests at 1/10.

Sky Bet offers the best price for a Christian Cage win with its offer of  7/1.

A Look At BetOnline's Women's Casino Battle Royale Odds Plus Kambi Update

BetOnline has recently published a market for the women's Casino Battle Royale that is set for tomorrow night's AEW All Out 2021 PPV.

When I first came across it yesterday morning, I noticed two of the selections - Field (Mystery Entry)' and 'Anna Jay' - were locked on the website. This usually occurs when bets have been struck on those selections and it takes some time before they are available to bet on again. In the case of the two selections of note, they were reinserted within three hours of me coming across them with the option that will win on the 'Field' - or Joker, who will enter in 21st place - priced at +500. 

When I revisited the website last night, the 'Field (Mystery Entry)' selection had lowered into +350 and had decreased to +275 by the time I checked in this morning.

The second locked selection from yesterday morning's visit was +2,200 at 2:20PM BST. However, I when I looked in at 8:20PM BST, it had been cut into +1,000 and remains at that price as of 10:00AM BST and the time of writing.

As you can see in the table, Tay Conti is another name whose price has dipped since I began to follow the market's moves.

A victory for Conti was priced at +1,000 yesterday morning, but was moved into +700 by the evening. 

BetOnline's favourite, Thunder Rosa, has stalled at -150.

A couple of days ago, I published a post about Kambi's market for the match. At the time, Thunder Rosa was a joint 2/1 favourite along with whoever 'The Joker (Entrant #21)' will be (going by speculation - it looks like it could be the former Ruby Riott/Heidi Lovelace: Ruby Soho).

Since publishing the last update, The Joker selection has declined. It was at EVS this morning, but has now moved in a little more into 9/10.

Another selection with shorter odds is the one for Anna Jay. It was 20/1 initially, but is now at 9s.

The winner of the Casino Battle Royale will earn a title match for the AEW Women's World Championship, which is currently held by Britt Baker.

Odds For Omega .vs. Cage To Be AEW All Out 2021's Match Of The Night Dip Plus More

It looks like customers betting on Kambi's Wrestling Observer Newsletter star ratings markets for AEW All Out 2021 are expecting the Kenny Omega versus Christian Cage contest to be rated match of the night by Dave Meltzer when all is said and done.

A market, allowing punters to gamble on which match will receive the most stars in Meltzer's review of the event, was opened a couple of days ago. At the time, Kambi's oddsmakers were offering Omega versus Christian Cage (referred to as 'AEW World Championship') at a price of 4/1. It was third behind 'AEW Tag Team Championship' (Young Bucks .vs. Lucha Bros.) and 'CM Punk .vs. Darby Allin' which were 4/6 favourite and 9/4 respectively.

As of this morning, the AEW World Title match has been cut from the aforementioned 4/1 and is now a 17/10 second-favourite.

Remaining a favourite, the option to gamble on the Bucks and Lucha Brothers earning the most stars in the review has moved out to 4/5 while the previous second-favourite has leapt out to 4/1.

A selection which will cover 'Any Unlisted Match' to be the highest rated has been moved to 7s from 6/1.

The interest in Omega .vs. Cage to receive the most stars has also impacted other markets that are available for tomorrow's PPV.

In one, the title match was up against Punk versus Allin in a head-to-head. Both selections were EVS when the market was initially priced up. However, the odds for 'AEW World Championship' have now been lowered into 7/10.

As a result - the bookmakers are now offering the Punk versus Allin selection at 13/10 while the 'Same Star Rating' - which will win if both bouts scores the same amount of stars - has increased to 43/20 from 2/1.

The star ratings lines for both matches have a difference of a quarter of a star with Punk versus Allin's line at 4.75 to the AEW World Championship contest's 4.5. Looking at both markets, you will notice that there appears to be interest in Omega and Christian getting four-and-a-half stars or higher and the Punk versus Allin clash doing lower than its line.

You'll notice above that, in the Omega versus Christian Cage market, the price for '4.5 Stars or More' was lowered into 11/25 - from 11/20 - sometime within the last few hours while the Under has increased from 5/4 to 8/5. In the table below, you'll see that the 'Under 4.75 Stars' offering has declined from 8/13 into 2/5 while the option to bet on Punk and Allin receiving four-and-three-quarters or higher has drifted from 23/20 to 7/4.

The favourite to win the most stars tomorrow night has also had bets wagered on it in the Over/Under markets.

With a line of 4.75 Stars, the option to wager on the Young Bucks and Lucha Bros' cage match to receive '4.75 Stars Or More' has been snipped from 1/2 into 2/5 while the option to gamble on the contest to do under its line has been placed at 7/4 from 7/5.

A prop market - which asks customers whether or not there will be a match graded five stars or above - has been tweaked with 'Yes' lowered from 13/10 into 5/4 while 'No' has been kept as an 11/20 favourite.

In the current issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer - who will be at the show live - noted that the edition of the publication which will have his All Out 2021 review will be released later than usual.

New AEW All Out 2021 Markets From Kambi

The oddsmakers from Kambi have added more AEW All Out 2021 match markets to their coverage of this weekend's PPV.

In the first of the new markets, the bookies have given 1/4 odds to Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor, Wheeler Yuta and Jurassic Express to beat The HFO (5/2) in the ten-man tag team match on the event's pre-show.

Jon Moxley is a 1/8 fave to beat Satoshi Kojima (4/1).

AEW Women's Champion - Britt Baker - is 1/20 to successfully retain her title over Kris Statlander. A decision for the challenger will pay out at 7/1.

MJF is a 2/1 underdog for his meeting with Chris Jericho in a match in which Jericho will retire if he loses. A victory for the latter has been priced at 1/3.

On last week's episode of Dynamite, The Lucha Brothers beat Jurassic Express in a final of an eliminator tournament to determine challengers to The Young Buck's AEW Tag Team Championship. They will now meet the champs on Sunday night in a steel cage match.

Without knowing which team the Bucks would face at All Out, Kambi initially installed a market which allowed customers to gamble on the champions to retain or not. 'No' was a 7/10 favourite while 'Yes' was EVS. Now that the match is confirmed, a regular market has been installed with the Bucks 13/25 for the win. Their challengers are 13/10.

A Women's Casino Battle Royale has also been confirmed for the show. Here are the prices that were published:

I noted in a post published last week that Kambi had installed Over/Under markets for the matches that had already been priced up. New O/U markets for the additional matches added to the card have now been installed. The lines for all of the matches announced can be found in the table below.
