Here are the closing betting favourites for tonight's WWE Extreme Rules PPV.

The selections are ranked in order of strength using the betting markets that were available from BetOnline starting with the wrestler with the shortest odds and so on.

The WWE Raw Women's Championship market closed with both Bianca Belair and her challenger, Bayley, both at -120. European betting agencies, like those with Kambi's markets and Sky Bet, closed with Bianca Belair a favourite. However, Bayley's odds had dipped today.

*Even though Liv Morgan was a favourite with BetOnline, Kambi and Sky Bet closed their respective markets with Ronda Rousey as the match fave.

BetOnline's Extreme Rules '22 Odds Notes For Saturday Evening

Here is a follow-up to the post from Wednesday in which I looked through BetOnline's WWE Extreme Rules '22 markets.

Imperium .vs. The Brawling Brutes
On Wednesday, I noted that Imperium's odds to win the Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook match had slid into -200 from -150 while The Brawling Brutes had moved out from +110 to +140.

Since then, the Brutes' price was cut into +120 while Imperium went up to -160. And, as of this evening, the market now points to there being a shift with the Brawling Brutes favourites. 

Kind of.

BetOnline currently has the selection for the Brawling Brutes locked. It lists Imperium now at +140, so - to make an assumption - that would indicate that the Brutes, if they were on the board, would be -200 faves.

Update: The Brutes are now indeed the favourites. BetOnline has reinserted them at -400 with Imperium now at +250.

Matt Riddle .vs. Seth Rollins
When I last wrote about the market for the Fight Pit match, Matt Riddle was at -400 after starting out -220 on September 22nd. His odds have plummeted even further and is now -1,500 after dropping from -600 into -1,250 sometime between yesterday evening and the early hours of this morning.

A decision for Seth Rollins is now offered at +600. He had kicked off at +160.

Karrion Kross .vs. Drew McIntyre
BetOnline's market for the strap match opened with Karrion Kross at +120 to Drew McIntyre's -160. The punters sided with Kross because he was a f-200 favourite within a couple of days. The drop has continued with the fave now at -450.

A winning gamble on McIntyre will now pay out odds of +275.

Bianca Belair .vs. Bayley
Bayley's odds to win the WWE Raw Women's Championship from Bianca Belair, in a ladder match, have been cut a couple of times today. On Thursday, I noticed Bayley had risen to +120 from +100. However, when I checked this morning, she was back into the +100 she was available at on Wednesday. The dip has continued this evening with the challenger now at -110.

Bianca Belair was backed into -160 from -140 sometime before 8:00PM BST on Thursday, but is now up to -130 after this morning's adjustment. 

Edge .vs. Finn Balor
Finn Balor's odds to beat Edge, in an 'I Quit' match, had been on the descent after falling from +110 into -110 by Wednesday morning. Since then, I've found both wrestlers at -120 pick 'ems (on Thursday) and then Balor at -280 this morning. His odds have moved up to -260 due to Edge's price been snipped from +220 into +180.

Liv Morgan .vs. Ronda Rousey
The market for the Extreme Rules match now lists both participants at -120 each. 

WWE Smackdown Women's Champion, Liv Morgan, fell from +200 into +180 sometime before 8:00PM BST on Thursday and has now descended into the -120.

Ronda Rousey's price had been moving in this week before the latest adjustments. She was a -260 at the start of the day.

Extreme Rules '22 Odds Notes For October 5

It has been over two weeks since I last published a post, so thought I would put up an update about the Extreme Rules markets available from BetOnline now that Kambi and Sky Bet have their own markets up.

Here are the things I've been able to follow so far.

Ladder Match for the WWE Raw Women's Championship
The odds for Bayley to beat the WWE Raw Women's Champion - Bianca Belair - have moved in from +110 into +100.

Belair is still a favourite. However, her price has moved up from -150 to -140.

'I Quit' Match

A few days ago, BetOnline had Finn Balor as a +110 underdog to Edge in the market for the 'I Quit' match. He has since fallen into -110.

Edge is still favourite. Slightly. He's currently -130, which is up from -150.

Fight Pit Match

The punters have backed Matt Riddle to beat Seth Rollins in the Fight Pit Match. As you'll see below, Riddle's odds were at -220 when I first began to follow the market on September 22nd. As of this morning, a winning punt on the favourite will now pay out at odds of -400.

Rollins is now +250. That's up from +160.

Six-Man Tag

The Good Old Fashioned Doneybrook Match market has seen Imperium backed into -150 from -200. As a result, their opponents - The Brawling Brutes - have moved out to +140 from +110.

Strap Match

The market for the strap match between Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross initially had McIntyre as a -160 favourite over the +120 for Kross. Since then, however, the betting has sided with Kross because he has now fallen into favouritism and is currently -300 to McIntyre's +200.

Extreme Rules Match for the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship

When the market for Liv Morgan's WWE Smackdown Women's Championship defence against Ronda Rousey was first priced up, the early wagers appeared to have sided with the titleholder because her odds fell from +300 into +160 between September 11th and 30th.

The late interest appears to have sided with Ronda Rousey who, after starting out a -500 and rising to -200, has now been backed down into -250.

BetOnline Releases Morgan/Rousey Market

BetOnline is taking bets on the first match that has been announced for the upcoming WWE Extreme Rules event.

The market, which was released over the weekend, has WWE Smackdown Women's Champion, Liv Morgan, at +300 for her meeting with previous titleholder, Ronda Rousey.

A decision for the challenger will pay out at odds of -300.

Extreme Rules is scheduled to take place from Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on Saturday October 8.

How Kambi's WWE Extreme Rules 2021 Observer Star Ratings O/U Markets Were Settled

The most recent issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter - with Dave Meltzer's review of the WWE Extreme Rules 2021 PPV - was published last week meaning that Kambi was able to settle the Over/Under star ratings markets that were released for the show.

In the table below, you'll find the lines and results of all the matches that were covered by the betting firm.

The main event, which saw Roman Reigns successfully defend the WWE Universal Championship against 'The Demon' Finn Balor, was graded four stars by the newsletter's editor.

Kambi had initially set a line of four-and-a-half stars for the match, but increased it to 4.75 when it was announced the meeting would be contested as an Extreme Rules match. The line eventually lowered back into 4.5 due to apparent interest in 'Under 4.75 Stars' as the selection fell from 13/25 into 1/4.

The Over/Unders were the only Observer-themed markets Kambi released for Extreme Rules 2021.

A Sunday Morning Look Through WWE Extreme Rules 2021 Betting Markets

Here are some observations from the following of some of the WWE Extreme Rules 2021 betting markets that are available for today's event.

The matches are listed in the order of appearance on the BetOnline website.

WWE Smackdown Women's Championship
BetOnline's market for the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship has seen Becky Lynch's odds fall from -200 into -400 between September 8th and earlier this week.

As a result of the interest in the current WWE Smackdown Women's Champion, Bianca Belair has drifted out from +150 to +250.

I first began following Sky Bet's market for the match on September 10th and it too has been favouring the champion. However, the market from Kambi - even though it has Lynch as the favourite - has seen the challenger's odds dipping. 

Until recently, that is.

As you can see above, Bianca Belair was 7/2 when the market opened on September 11th. By yesterday morning, her price was down to 2/1. 

Both selections have now returned to where they were when the market was first installed after Becky Lynch's odds came in from 1/3 to 2/13 sometime between yesterday morning and today.

WWE Raw Women's Championship
It's a somewhat similar story with the market for the WWE Raw Women's Championship because, Charlotte Flair's BetOnline odds have declined while Kambi's prices for her challenger - Alexa Bliss - have receded.

Both selections opened at -120 on BetOnline. However, from there, Flair began to descend and was placed into -200 by Wednesday morning.

Alexa Bliss, on the other hand, has drifted from the -120 to +150.

Over on Kambi's market, Bliss started out at 3/1 a little over a fortnight ago. She is still not considered the favourite, but her price has declined into 8/5.

A decision for Charlotte Flair started out at 1/5. It's currently 11/25.

WWE United States Championship
The markets for Damian Priest's US Championship defence - in a triple threat match against Sheamus and Jeff Hardy - opened with the champion as the fave.

BetOnline's market has seen Priest backed from -235 into -275. With the former champ, Sheamus, being pushed out to +230 from +200 while Jeff Hardy has been kept at +500.

Priest's price has declined in Kambi's market. However, so have the odds for his opponents.

Here's some food for thought: with the match originally meant to be a one-on-one with Sheamus, could the addition of Jeff Hardy be a way to shift the title from Priest without having to lose it? 

That could explain why the bookmakers have shortened the Sheamus and Hardy selections. 

Liv Morgan .vs. Carmella
BetOnline's market for the Liv Morgan versus Carmella grudge match was first posted earlier this week. It saw Morgan's price fall from -265 into -400 within three days.

As a result of Morgan's price drop, BetOnline increased Carmella's odds from +180 to +250.

Kambi also lists Liv Morgan as the betting favourite. However, the early adjustments have sided with Carmella.

The match's heel started out at 4/1 on Wednesday, but was down to 3/1 by yesterday. From there, Liv Morgan's price - which has started at 1/8 - fell from 1/5 into 2/13. This resulted in Carmella reaching back out to 7/2.

WWE Universal Championship
Kambi's market for the Extreme Rules match between Roman Reigns and Finn Balor - as The Demon - was opened on September 11th.

Reigns started out a 2/13 favourite, but has now descended into 1/16 with Balor's selection rising out to 6/1 from 7/2.

BetOnline started with the champion a -800 favourite over the +450 for his challenger. This was later adjusted to Reigns being slashed into -1,000 while Balor was moved to +500.

WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship
The Usos have been backed to successfully retain the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship against The Street Profits with BetOnline and Kambi.

As you'll see below, BetOnline had the champions as -160 over the +130 for their challengers, when I came across the market on Wednesday morning. By the evening of the following day, the selection had dropped into -250 with The Street Profits moved up to +170.

Kambi's market for the match was also became available on Wednesday with the champs at 1/3 to The Street Profits' 2/1.

The Usos were down into 1/6 when the market was republished following Smackdown and have since been backed into 2/13.

A win for The Street Profits is now 7/2.

AEW All Out 2021: Results Of Kambi's Observer Markets

The recent issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, which came out last weekend, had Dave Meltzer's review of AEW All Out 2021. This meant that all of the star ratings betting markets - published by Kambi for the PPV - were settled by the bookmaking company.

The most notable thing about Meltzer's coverage of the event is that the AEW World Tag Team Championship match, which saw the Lucha Brothers beat the Young Bucks for the straps inside a steel cage, was given five-and-three-quarter stars.

This result means that Kambi settled 'AEW Tag Team Championship' as the winning selection in the market which allowed customers to gamble on what they thought would be the 'Highest Rated Match of the Night'.

Opening as a 4/6 favourite - when the market was published on 2nd September - the eventual winner's price began to drift due to apparent interest in the second favourite: the selection for Kenny Omega's AEW World Championship defence against Christian Cage. The option moved in from 4/1 to 11/10 across the three days of availability.

By the day of the show, 'AEW Tag Team Championship' was an 11/10 joint-favourite alongside what turned out to be the second best match of the night with four-and-a-quarter stars.

A prop market, which asked whether or not there would be a match on the card which ultimately scored five stars or more, was settled with 'Yes' winning as a starting 13/10 underdog. As you'll see - in the table below - the selection was backed in the days leading into the PPV and was down to EVS a few hours before betting was suspended.

With there being a difference of one-and-a-half stars between the tag match and Omega .vs. Cage, Kambi settled another prop market, this time asking whether there would be a half-a-star or more difference between the top match and the next best, with 'Yes' declared as the winning selection. It was 8/5.

The 'Joint Winners' prop market - in which the bookmaker asked whether one or more matches on the card would receive the highest number of stars in Meltzer's review - was settled with 'No' winning as a 4/9 favourite.

The Omega versus Cage main event featured in a head-to-head market in which customers gambled whether or not it would receive more stars than CM Punk versus Darby Allin or tie for an equal number.

Punk's winning meeting against Allin received three-and-three-quarters from Meltzer. Therefore, 'AEW World Championship' was the winning pick.

Going by the odds movement, it appears as though some customers were on the correct side because the selection was backed from EVS into 8/13 over the three days the market was available.

Two other head-to-head specials could have been found for the PPV.

In one, the four stars Jon Moxley and Satoshi Kojima picked up for their bout was enough to win as a 6/5 second favourite behind Chris Jericho versus MJF, which received a quarter of a star less than its opposition.

The tie came into play in the head-to-head between Miro versus Eddie Kingston and Brit Baker versus Kris Statlander.

Both title matches were given four stars apiece in Dave Meltzer's report. As a result, 'Same Star Rating' was graded as the 7/4 winner.

The most popular star ratings markets - the Over/Unders - were also settled over the weekend when the current issue was released. The lines and results for all of the matches can be found below.

You'll notice that, of all those matches, only five received a score of five stars or more. This result was important for the settlement of a proposition market which asked whether there would be at least six matches with a score of four stars or more.

'No' started out as a 4/9 favourite over the 6/4 for 'Yes'. A couple of days later, it was apparently backed into 2/5 moving 'Yes' out to 7/4. However, a day later, both selections returned to where they started off due to the eventual loser seemingly being backed into 6/4.

I'll return to the star ratings posts following the release of Dave Meltzer's report for WWE Extreme Rules 2021.

Kambi has already released O/U markets for the matches that are currently being advertised and one that is no longer on the card.

Roman Reigns versus Finn Balor has a high line which is set at 4.5 Stars. It's followed by Damian Priest versus Sheamus and Becky Lynch versus Bianca Belair, which both have their respective over/under lines set at 3.75 Stars.

For what it's worth, and it isn't worth much anymore, the bookmakers also set Bobby Lashley's WWE Championship defence against Randy Orton at 3.75 stars.

The WWE Raw Women's Championship match between Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss has a low O/U of 2 stars.

A Look At BetOnline's WWE Extreme Rules 2021 Markets

The oddsmakers from BetOnline published four markets for WWE Extreme Rules 2021 yesterday. Half of them have already changed within the last twenty-four hours.

The first adjustments were made in the market for Becky Lynch's WWE Smackdown Women's Championship defence against Bianca Belair. It has seen the titleholder's price move from -200 into -225.

With Lynch's odds shortened, the bookmakers have moved the former champion's up from +150 to +165.

The second market that has been active since yesterday's publication is for another title rematch from SummerSlam 2021.

Damian Priest, who started off as a -300 favourite to successfully retain the WWE United States Championship against Sheamus, has fallen into -350.

The move in favour of the titleholder means that Sheamus - who was initially priced +200 - has drifted to +250.

In the other markets - Bobby Lashley is a -600 favourite over Randy Orton (+350) in the WWE Championship match while Charlotte Flair (-120) and Alexa Bliss (-120) are equally priced for the Raw Women's Championship contest.

WWE Extreme Rules 2020 Observer Star Ratings O/U Results

This week's issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, featuring Dave Meltzer's review of this year's WWE Extreme Rules event, was released earlier this morning.

Now that the review is official, Kambi will settle the star ratings over/under markets that were published for the show.

Five markets were published. One was already declared void as the United States Championship match between Apollo Crews and MVP didn't take place.

The main show opener, which saw Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura defeat The New Day for the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship, was given two-and-three-quarter stars by Dave Meltzer.

Kambi's line was set at 3.5 Stars, so the winning selection will be 'Under 3.5 Stars'.

The next match on the card saw Bayley successfully retain the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship against Nikki Cross was graded three-and-a-quarter stars by Meltzer. Therefore, with the line for the bout set at 2.5 Stars, the winning selection will be '2.5 Stars or More'.

Asuka versus Sasha Banks - for the WWE Raw Women's Championship - was another match that went above Kambi's line. Meltzer rated it four stars. The line was 3.75, so '3.75 Stars or More' will be the winning selection.

The same result can be applied to the WWE Championship contest which saw Drew McIntyre's win over Dolph Ziggler also get four stars with a line of 3.75 Stars.

WWE Extreme Rules 2020 Betting Favourites

Kevin Owens .vs. Murphy Announced For Extreme Rules 2020 And Odds

WWE has announced Kevin Owens versus Murphy for the Extreme Rules 2020 Kick Off show and a couple of bookmaking agencies have published markets for it.

Both Sky Bet and websites offering Kambi's WWE markets have Owens as a 1/10 favourite.

Those looking to wager on Buddy Murphy can find him at 5/1 with Kambi, but at a slightly higher 11/2 with Sky Bet.

5Dimes Extreme Rules 2020 Odds Changes As Of 10PM BST

There have been some adjustments made to 5Dimes' markets for tonight. 

WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship

The selection for The New Day has fallen from -425 into -2,000 within the last hour. As a result, those looking to bet on Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura can now find the challengers at +1,000. This is up from +305.

WWE Smackdown Women's Championship

Bayley's odds to successfully retain the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship have dripped from -700 into -1.050 between 9PM and 10PM BST. A decision in favour of Nikki Cross will now pay out at +550. She dipped from +450 into +434 an hour ago.

WWE Raw Women's Championship

Asuka is now at -1,050 to get a win against her challenger, Sasha Banks. This is down from -420. Banks is now at +550. This is up from +300.

Other Changes

- Seth Rollins has lowered from -350 into -420 with Rey Mysterio rising to +300 from +250.

- Bray Wyatt is also at -420. This is a drop from -190. Braun Strowman's price has double from +150

Notes About 5Dimes' WWE Extreme Rules 2020 Markets

• The New Day selection has now lowered from -300 into -320 in the market for the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship tables match. A win for Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura, which was offered at +220 this morning, is now +240
• Apollo Crews is now a -300 favourite to successfully retain the WWE United States Championship. He was -280 this morning. As a result, MVP has risen to +220 from +200. As mentioned this morning, the betting before today has gone the way of MVP as his price declined from +315 into +200 across the past five days
• Seth Rollins' price to beat Rey Mysterio in the eye for an eye match has dropped from -275 into -380. Mysterio is now up from +195 to +260
• Braun Strowman is now at +120 from +125 to win the Wyatt swamp fight. Bray Wyatt is -160 from -165
• Bayley was -570 to get a win over Nikki Cross in the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship market when I wrote about the odds this morning. She is now at -600 with Nikki Cross up from +380 to +400
• Drew McIntyre is now at -1,750 from -1,500 to get a win over his challenger for the WWE Championship - Dolph Ziggler (+700 to +850)
• WWE Raw Women's Champion, Asuka, is now at -420 to get a W over Sasha Banks. She was -300 earlier. A decision in favour of the challenger will now pay out at +300. This is up from +220 from this morning.

Here are some observations I've made regarding the WWE Extreme Rules 2020 betting markets available from BetOnline.

WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship

This is the most recent market. The bookmakers have The New Day as -140 favourites to successfully retain the straps against Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro (+100). 

WWE Championship

The Drew McIntyre versus Dolph Ziggler market has been available since earlier this month. Despite this, it has been stationary with the titleholder a -2,000 favourite. A decision in favour of Ziggler will pay out at odds of +700.

WWE Smackdown Women's Championship

Another market that has been available since early July, and hasn't changed, is the one for Bayley's Smackdown Women's Championship defence against Nikki Cross. The champ is a -600 fave while Nikki Cross is +350.

WWE United States Championship

The market for Apollo Crews versus MVP - for the United States Championship - has seen the challenger, MVP, lower from +300 into +200. You can see how I've followed the changes in the table below.

WWE Raw Women's Championship

Asuka's odds to successfully retain the WWE Raw Women's Championship against Sasha Banks went from -300 into -320 sometime before Friday evening. 

As a result, those looking to gamble on Sasha Banks can now find the challenger at +210, which is up from +200.

Wyatt Swamp Fight

Bray Wyatt has moved from -140 favourite down to -200 in the market for the Wyatt swamp fight against Braun Strowman.

Seth Rollins' odds to win the eye for an eye match against Rey Mysterio were at -150 when I first noticed the market a week ago. He is now down to -250 after falling into that price overnight.

5Dimes' WWE Extreme Rules 2020 Odds For Sunday Morning

Here are all the notes I've been able to make from visits to the WWE Extreme Rules 2020 betting markets on the 5Dimes Sportsbook's website.

WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship

A market for the tables match for the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship was published yesterday. At the time when I noticed it (11PM BST), The New Day were -175 favourites. As of this morning, their price is down to -300. 

A winning wager on Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura, which was +135 last night, will now pay out at +220.

WWE United States Championship

The market for Apollo Crews' WWE US Championship defence against MVP has seen the challenger's price lowered.

As you can see, MVP was +315 on Tuesday afternoon. He was then down to +260 by the following morning, was then down to +245 on Friday and was at +200 when I visited last night. He remains at +200.

Crews remains a favourite. However, his odds have drifted from -445 to -280.

Rey Mysterio .vs. Seth Rollins

Most, but not all, of the adjustments made to the market for the eye for an eye match have gone the way of the match's underdog - Rey Mysterio.

Braun Strowman's odds to win the Wyatt swamp fight went from +170 down to +125 between Tuesday and last night. He remains at +125.

Bayley was a -1,050 favourite to successfully retain the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship against Bayley when I first came across the market on Tuesday. By the following morning, the challenger's price had reduced with Nikki Cross lowered from from +550 into +350. 

When I checked in yesterday morning, I noticed Bayley's odds had dropped from -530 into -810. However, by 11:00PM BST, Cross' price had dropped from +470 into +380.

WWE Raw Women's Championship

My following of the WWE Raw Women's Championship market initially saw the odds for Sasha Banks drop from +300 into +225 between Tuesday and Friday. As a result, Asuka went out from -420 to -305 to successfully retain her strap.

Asuka was lowered into -350 yesterday while her challenger rose to +250. However,  Banks dipped into +220 overnight.

A winning wager on the champ will now pay out at -300.

The market for the WWE Championship contest between Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler has only moved once since I began following it.

Dolph Ziggler was +900, but was lowered into +700 somewhere between Thursday night and 9AM BST the following morning.

With the challenger's odds snipped, 5Dimes has put the champion's price up from -1,850 to -1,500.
