WrestleMania 33 Betting : To Be WWE Champion At The End Of Mania 33

Here's the GrosvenorCasinos.com betting market where its customers can wager on the wrestler that is WWE World Champion at the end of WrestleMania 33.

Earlier today, I wrote a post looking at another betting market. In this post, I mentioned AJ Styles versus Randy Orton as a match I would not be surprised to see at next year's WrestleMania. Therefore, I like the 4/1 for Randy Orton to leave the event as champion.

I bet a few of you were surprised to see The Undertaker at 2/1. My initial thoughts were that he seemed very short as I would have pegged him to be in the 10/1 to 25/1 range due to him now being a special attraction. However, when I reflected on it, I came up with a possible reason why the oddsmakers are hanging him out at 2s.

They have John Cena as the favourite to leave WrestleMania 33 as the World Champion, so I am wondering whether they're anticipating Cena entering Mania as titleholder.

One of the plans for this year's WrestleMania was to have John Cena taking on The Undertaker in a battle of legends. Unfortunately, the plan was scrapped after Cena was injured. I surmise the oddsmakers are anticipating Cena versus Taker being featured on the Mania 33 card and that it'll be for the WWE Championship.

The match is big enough for it not to be for the strap. Plus, Taker is - as I wrote above - a special attraction. I can't see the company putting the belt on him.
