Kambi's Odds For The Next 3 WWE PPVs

Earlier today, the oddsmakers from Kambi published match markets for the three upcoming WWE pay-per-view events. So, in an attempt to catch up with everything, I'll write about the early prices from all three shows in this one post.

In order of show...

WWE Hell in a Cell 2018

I came across the Hell in a Cell 2018 prices at approximately 3:45PM BST. They have put up six match markets and a special where customers can place wagers on who they believe will be the holders of the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship at the end of the event. This is because there is qualifying in-progress and we won't know for sure who the challengers to The New Day are until thirteen days from now.

The New Day were installed as 2/5 favourites. They're followed by The Bar (EVS), who will meet the winners out of next week's triple threat comprising of Rusev and Aiden English (13/2), The Usos (13/2) and Sanity (17/1).

Randy Orton is a 3/5 favourite to beat Jeff Hardy in a Hell in a Cell match that was confirmed last night. A win for Hardy will reward the punter at 6/5.

Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella are 21/50 for their mixed tag team match against The Miz and Maryse (33/20).

WWE Raw Women's Champion - Ronda Rousey - is a short 2/13 for a SummerSlam rematch against the former champ Alexa Bliss (7/2).

Smackdown's Women's Champion, Charlotte Flair, is 8/13 as she takes on her former friend, Becky Lynch (23/20).

WWE Universal Champion - Roman Reigns - is 4/9 for his Hell in a Cell meeting with Braun Strowman (6/5).

Samoa Joe is a 7/5 outsider for his SummerSlam rematch against WWE Champion, AJ Styles (1/2).

WWE Super Show-Down

Samoa Joe and AJ Styles will also clash on the October 6th PPV from Melbourne, Australia. The oddsmakers have installed both men at 17/20 for this match.

Daniel Bryan is EVS to win the match against The Miz (7/10) where the winner will receive a future title shot.

Ronda Rousey and The Bella Twins are 1/10 faves to have their arms raised following the trios match against The Riott Squad (9/2).

Another six-person will see The Shield (11/20) go up against Braun Strowman and his new allies - Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. A decision in favour of the heels has been priced at 5/4.

On Raw, Kevin Owens 'quit'. I don't know whether this will impact a match that he's scheduled to wrestle on during this show. He was set to team with Elias to take on John Cena and Bobby Lashley. The heels are 6s while Cena and Lashley are 1/16.

Finally, they've priced The Undertaker as an 11/50 favourite to win what is being billed as his last ever match against Triple H (11/4).

(Super Show-Down prices correct as of 5:30PM BST)

WWE Evolution

The pay-per-view following Super Show-Down is the all women's show on October 28th. So far, only one match has been confirmed.

Alexa Bliss is a 13/20 to defeat WWE Hall of Famer, Trish Stratus (11/10).

Even though there is one match market available, the bookies have priced up one market where customers can place bets on who they believe will be holding the Raw Women's Championship after the event and another where they can punt on the holder of the Smackdown strap.

Ronda Rousey is 1/4 to be still in possession of her title. Next up is her friend, Natalya, and Nikki Bella. Both are 3/1. It should be worth noting that there are reports of Rousey versus Bella being the main event of this show.

The list continues all the way down to names like Alicia Fox, Dana Brooke, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan who are 66/1 each.

Charlotte Flair (9/10) and Becky Lynch (6/4) are at the top of the market for the Smackdown Women's Championship.

Smackdown's list ends with Billie Kay, Mandy Rose and Peyton Royce in the 50/1 zone.

(Evolution prices correct as of 5PM BST)

  1. Small mistake in Super showdown

Is Daniel Bryan EVS or 7/10 ?

  2. Joe - AJ odds are interesting. I can't see Joe losing at HIAC and then again at Super showdown

My guess is Joe wins the title at HIAC and SSD is AJ's rematch. Or WWE does another screwy finish at HIAC and Joe gets another oppurtunity at SSD

    1. I am mildly leaning on the title switch at HIAC. After watching TV the past couple of weeks, it’s obvious Super Show-Down is a priority so they might have Joe win in order to get a big title change in Australia.

I haven’t bet on anything though.

  3. I'm all over AJ Styles on both occasions.

I think I have figured this feud out.

This match is not taking place inside HIAC because WWE plans on doing another screwy finish imo either a DQ win in favour of Styles when Joe beats him down with a steel chair as payback for SummerSlam or they fight to a double count out.

Joe winning the title here only to drop it to AJ 20 days later is pointless. 3 Episodes of SDLive to promote Joe as champion is not enough and I don't see him going 3-0 against AJ.

I don't see any titles changing hands at Super Show-Down as it's a glorified house show look at the way it's being booked. No Universal, Intercontinental or RAW Women's Championship match on the card.

AJ has to beat Joe clean at least once in this feud and as I have said there is no point in doing a title change at HIAC if Joe is only going to be champion for 20 days as that does Joe no favours in the long run tbh.

Recap HIAC - AJ Wins by DQ or a Double Count Out.

SSD- AJ wins clean to end the feud then moves on to face the Universal champion at Survivor Series after that you have TLC and that's when The Miz feud starts imo.

    1. It isn't a glorified house show, though.

There is far too much effort being put into hyping this show. It's close to dwarfing Hell in a Cell actually.

    2. And the thing about dropping the title only to win it back. WWE has been known to do this.

Shawn Michaels in 1996 to win the title in the Alamodome months later (Rumble 1997).

Joe even had a 2 week reign as NXT Champion in order to drop it to Nakamura in Japan.

    3. Don't back yourself into a corner believing that they're doing champion vs champion at Survivor Series.

Last year could have been a one-off.

And if they do, you have to start moving off from Charlotte .vs. Ronda being at Mania...

    4. David i think they will do Ronda vs Becky. Charlotte has to lose the title if she's facing Ronda at Wrestlemania

    5. What about this...

If it is Flair .vs, Ronda at Survivor Series and both are still champs in January, who wins the Rumble?

      Delete
    6. May be someone like Sasha

      Delete
    7. Nikki Bella might have highest chance of winning Rumble

      Delete
    8. Natalya is my third pick. Shayna 4th.

      Delete
    9. Natalya winning kinda makes sense. She's with Ronda every time so possible heel turn for Natalya.

But i don't if Ronda vs Natalya is a Wrestlemania worthy match.

    10. Charlotte will lose the Title to Becky and wins the Rumble.

      Delete
    11. ABCMartiny Of course, that's what we are expecting.

      Delete
    12. Sasha? No chance. They will do Womens Tag Title at Evolution and with the common Bayley & Sasha Shirt they will win.

  4. Darryl Cullip it's been 3 years since WWE title has changed back and forth. There should short title runs here and there.

Title change in front of 80000 people is perfect IMO

I don't think WWE will do another screwy finisy here since it already happened at Summerslam.

  5. I agree about WWE being known to play pass the parcel with Championships.

Regarding Survivor Series I think we are going to get Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch. Becky Lynch beats Charlotte at Evolution for the SD Women's championship imo.

I'm with ABCMartiny Charlotte will win the Rumble. I see Ronda walking into Mania as the RAW Women's Champion.

As for AJ vs Joe. With the storyline I can't see AJ losing the feud.

I was convinced this match would be inside HIAC that hasn't happened. Which is why I think we could see AJ v Joe brawling outside the ring leading to a Double Count out or something.

Imo. AJ Styles has to win the final match of the feud (Show Down) Otherwise he doesn't look good coming out of it tbh. AJ gets laid out most weeks on SDLive also Joe taunts his family on a weekly basis. The only thing AJ has done during this feud is get himself DQ'd at SummerSlam which resulted in a loss.

Joe could win at HIAC but a 20 day reign as champion does him more harm than good in the long run tbh. Joe deserves better than that imo if Joe did win at HIAC then he has to retain at Show-Down and go 3-0 vs AJ Styles and I don't see that happening.

If AJ was to lose the title at HIAC and regain it Show-Down then the feud would continue as Joe would be entitled to a rematch. Feud would have run it's course by Show-Down imo.

I'm sticking with my prediction that we get AJ winning by DQ or we get a brawl that ends in a double DQ or Count Out. Then at Show-Down AJ ends the feud.

    1. SD 1000 is Oct 16. I think it'll be AJ v Joe there too. I wouldnt mind a submission match between the two. Maybe AJ's wife & kids are ringside & they become torn as to whether or not to throw the towel in when AJ is in the Coquina clutch.

    2. When will 2K19 get released ? That might also play an important role in the result of this match?

      Delete
    3. The video game cover doesn't mean anything.

The decision for the cover star is made my 2K's marketing team with WWE giving the green light.

If it meant anything, previous stars would have been handed titles for release day.

Like I've said other times this idea has been suggested - if there was a need for synergy with the champion and the cover, the only day that matters is the one when the cover star is revealed.

It's an entirely different thing if Styles were to be holding the title on the cover, but even then I would say that booking decisions aren't backed into a corner based on who's on the front of the video game.

There will also be some who believe Styles will have to remain champion because of the $1 Million contest where you get to play Styles if you win the tournament. The date of the final falls in WrestleMania week, so those who think that will have to discount Styles losing the title until Mania.

    4. I agree and disagree with your post.

Regarding the $1 Million contest I completely agree. AJ will not remain champion because of that reason.

Regarding the video game cover I think it comes down to media appearances and other appearances WWE has booked him for regarding 2k19 tbh. If WWE has booked AJ Styles for multiple events to promote the game until it's release date then I think WWE would keep the title on him tbh.

I just think AJ holds on to the title until 2k19 is released. No point taking the title off the cover superstar if WWE has plans for him to win it back within a couple of weeks.

Regarding another point for AJ vs Joe betting that some might want to consider is this.

Super Show Down we have a No.1 contenders match between Daniel Bryan and The Miz. If WWE has Bryan winning this match then what was the point in Miz winning at SummerSlam if WWE has plans to give Daniel Bryan a much bigger push and possibly a championship reign coming out of SummerSlam. WWE may as well have done Bryan going over at SummerSlam if The Miz wasn't going to get a push/anything out of it.

This is why I think Miz is winning and WWE won't do Joe vs Miz as they are SDLive's top 2 heels imo. Therefore you have to have a babyface champion which is AJ Styles.

  6. Abraham.

2K19 Launches on the 5th October. 1 Day before Super Show Down.

    1. So Styles will be out of the US on the day of its release.

    2. Doesn't mean anything David. WWE may have Styles booked for a promotional event in Australia regarding 2k.

We shall find out what will happen regarding the Championship at HIAC.

      Delete
    3. As I said, Styles on the cover doesn't mean anything.

      Delete
    4. All about opinions. I disagree on this occasion.

Even if AJ wasn't on the cover of 2k I would still back him with the current storyline.

As I have said a 20 day reign for Joe as champion does him more harm than good in the long run and Styles cant lose the feud 0-3 considering everything is about his wife and kids.

      Delete
    5. I agree with you at times as well.

I just feel strongly about this one as I don't see what WWE can achieve with Joe being the champion for 3 episodes of SDLive.
