NXT Spoilers : Tips For Next Saturday?

I have just gone through the NXT TV Spoilers in an article on the Pro Wrestling Torch website and it makes for some interesting reading.

There were three episodes of NXT taped last night from its home ground of Full Sail University. The episode for the 26th (post-NXT TakeOver) will apparently open with Kevin Owens holding the NXT Title.

The correspondent notes that there was no announcement before the match and does bring up a good point in that there could have been some sort of angle where Owens steals the belt rather than win it in the ladder match at TakeOver.

Owens will then face Neville on the main event of the following episode.

As well as Owens physically holding the NXT title on these episodes, there is also a match at the start of possibly the August 26th installment where Sasha Banks defends the NXT Women's strap against Gionna Daddio.

Kevin Owens and Sasha Banks are still showing as outsiders in betting on Paddy Power's WWE Betting Page. So, the punters haven't acted yet. But - even if they do - it's worth considering the possibility that the company has pulled subterfuge. There was one occasion, that I can recall, when they did send out misinformation to disguise an upcoming result.

In 1994, during television tapings for post-WrestleMania X but filmed before the event, the World Wrestling Federation acknowledged Lex Luger as WWF Champion.

As we now know, Luger ended up being disqualified in his quest to win the belt from Yokozuna at WrestleMania X. Bret Hart went on to defeat the champion in the main event.

Luger never did win a title in the WWF.

And that's your history lesson over for now.

Paddy Power's WWE NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn odds can be found alongside the SummerSlam, Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 32 prices on Paddy's WWE Betting Page.
