The 5Dimes Sportsbook has removed the Divas Championship match market from its WWE Night of Champions 2015 coverage at 5Dimes.com.
The match, which was originally scheduled for the September 20th PPV, has been brought forward to this coming Monday's episode of Raw to play into the storyline where current titleholder - Nikki Bella - will become the longest reigning Divas Champion if she manages to make it to September 15th. To do so, she must get past Charlotte, who she was originally set to face at Night of Champions.
The market first went live on Monday with Charlotte an outsider. It was only a short while later that the challenger became the bettors' favourite. She was showing as -170 earlier this morning.
It isn't a surprising move for a sportsbook to close betting on a situation like this. There are rules in place that state markets can be closed if a venue or date is changed.
The interesting possiblity I brought up in yesterday's post is that the pair could still end up wrestling against one another at Night of Champions anyway.
The WWE website is still promoting the Nikki Bella versus Charlotte match on its Night of Champions page.
Match markets are still available at Betfair and Paddy Power as of this evening.
