Vince McMahon Now 8/1 To Appear At UFC 200

Vince McMahon's odds to appear at UFC 200 have dropped from 12/1 to 8/1 in a special prop market that has been available over at Betfair.com since Friday afternoon.

The special was published alongside a handful of other markets for the UFC show that takes place in less than two weeks.

I wrote about the WWE/UFC themed markets in a post written shortly after they were released. I singled out the 'Vince McMahon To Be In Attendance' as worthy of a speculative punt because McMahon and the UFC are in a business  agreement as it pertains to Brock Lesnar. I expect the UFC to have extended an invitation to McMahon to attend the event. I did, however, point out that there is even more likelier chance that Stephanie or Paul Levesque (HHH) will act as corporate representatives of WWE if an invitation is accepted.

12/1 that Vince is seen in attendance was still too good to turn down considering he is the head of the company. It appears some punters other than myself thought it was worth a shot.

Another market that is available is one where clients can bet on Brock Lesnar wearing a Suplex City T-Shirt on his entrance to the octagon. The odds for this happening have remained at 10/1. In Friday's post, I mentioned that Lesnar will represent Canada by wearing Reebok's Canadian fighter jersey and this has now been more or less confirmed with the release of the item alongside other Brock Lesnar merchandise in the UFC store.

This has made me even less likely to consider betting on him wearing a Suplex City tee on the night.

As noted, there are a handful of MMA/WWE themed markets for UFC 200. I have cherry-picked them to write about. There are many more specials available on the Mixed Martial Arts betting page at Betfair.com.

  1. I think the UFC crowd would kind of laugh if Lesnar walked out in a suplex city shirt
