Unibet Publishes 3 New Draft Markets

Unibet.com and this list of casinos and sportsbooks that accept wagers on WWE wrestling have installed three new markets for next week's WWE Draft.

Customers can now wager on the first pick for Raw, the first pick for Smackdown as well as predict which brand a handful of wrestlers are moved to.

The markets for the first Raw and Smackdown picks exclude both Roman Reigns and John Cena. Here's the pricing for the Raw brand:

Seth Rollins being top makes sense considering he's high in the overall draft pick market that excludes Roman Reigns and John Cena.

Dean Ambrose being lower down here, but higher in the Smackdown specific market may have been because there were reports earlier this year that Ambrose was a prominent image in Smackdown advertising that was drawn up. With that said, this was before the draft was officially announced and there is going to be a new logo, so that could be off the table now. He could also be ineligible if he's the WWE Titleholder on Tuesday.

Another interesting name on this list is Triple H who is a joint-second favourite at 5/2. For those of you considering backing him to win this market because he's Stephanie McMahon's husband, I'd hang back a bit. I have a feeling he'll be selected as Stephanie's Raw General Manager on Monday night.

Brock Lesnar at 5/2 is the one I'd back if I had to choose one. I've written numerous times in the past few weeks that the company should push 'The Beast' even more heavily if he won at UFC 200. In my opinion, he should go first overall.

The Smackdown market is as follows:

With Smackdown having a Shane McMahon, and possibly Daniel Bryan, war room, I would not rule out the writers doing something wacky and have the duo choose Finn Balor behind John Cena (if he does go first). With that said, the 10/1 for AJ Styles is also appealing.

As noted above, the third market is giving punters the opportunity to wager on the brand where each wrestler is drafted to.

The opening odds are as follows:

AJ Styles  18/25 (Raw) EVS (Smackdown)
Brock Lesnar 2/5 (Raw) 7/4 (Smackdown)
Dean Ambrose 19/20 (Raw) 3/4 (Smackdown)
John Cena 18/25 (Raw) EVS (Smackdown)
Roman Reigns 17/20 (Raw) 17/20 (Smackdown)
Randy Orton 9/10 (Raw) 4/5 (Smackdown)
Seth Rollins 3/5 (Raw) 6/5 (Smackdown)
Chris Jericho 1/2 (Raw) 7/5 (Smackdown)
The Undertaker 17/20 (Raw) 17/20 (Smackdown)
Bray Wyatt 23/20 (Raw) 8/13 (Smackdown)
Cesaro 11/10 (Raw) 13/20 (Smackdown)
Finn Balor 13/20 (Raw) 11/10 (Smackdown)
Kevin Owens 11/20 (Raw) 13/10 (Smackdown)
Samoa Joe 19/20 (Raw) 3/4 (Smackdown)
Shinsuke Nakamura 11/20 (Raw) 13/10 (Smackdown)
Charlotte 18/25 (Raw) EVS (Smackdown)
Sasha Banks 4/5 (Raw) 9/10 (Smackdown)

Here's what I have bet on so far along with reasoning:

AJ Styles to Smackdown (EVS)

If his feud with John Cena is continuing - and all reports indicate that they'll be wrestling at SummerSlam - then he would have to follow Cena to Smackdown. More on this in my second bet.

John Cena to Smackdown (EVS)

It was only this week that there seemed to have a shadow cast over where John Cena will end up post-draft. I still believe that he'll end up on the brand where he first debuted.

Roman Reigns to Raw (17/20)

If they're still all-in on Roman Reigns following his suspension, then I predict he'll be the face of Raw.

Randy Orton to Raw (9/10)

Raw will still be the flagship show and the company will have Randy Orton versus Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam in late-August. It makes sense for this match to be given attention on the major show.

And that's all for tonight. The markets can be found alongside other draft-themed odds under 'WWE' on the sportsbook menu at Unibet.com and other WWE bookies. I'll return later on today with a look over all the other markets and point out any changes that have been made since earlier on this week.
