A Look Back Over The Lesnar/Orton Specials For SummerSlam

It has been a couple of days since 32Red.com and a number of other bookmakers released prop markets for the upcoming SummerSlam match between Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton, I have since taken another look through the markets to see where the customers have been betting.

The first market that is available is one where you can bet on Brock Lesnar kicking out of an RKO. The prices have stayed as they were on Saturday evening with the 'Yes' at 2/5 and 'No' is 7/4.

An over/under on the number of suplexes delivered by Brock Lesnar to Orton during the match has also remained stationary. With the 'Over 10.5' or 'Under 10.5' each still available at 17/20.

A market where customers can bet on Lesnar breaking his record for the most suplexes in a single match (16 from SummerSlam 2014) is now 3/1. It had been 5/2, so it appears the oddsmakers have adjusted the line to try and get some interest. It's not working with me. I wrote on Saturday that I am 100% confident Randy Orton will not take seventeen or more suplexes after coming back from almost a year out due to injury. The amount of suplexes needed to win this bet is far too much of a risk to Orton's neck and your wallet.

There is an F5 market where clients can bet on the number of times Randy Orton is F5'd by Lesnar. The odds are still showing as:

Zero to One 6/4
Exactly Two 13/20
Three or More 2/1

Finally, another market that has shown signs of life is one where punters can bet on the amount of RKOs Randy Orton delivers to Lesnar during the match. The odds are:

Here's how the market opened:

Zero 7/2
Exactly One 3/10
Two or More 2/1

The evident action has taken place on the 'Two or More'. I have bet into this option myself. This is mainly because I am in the 'Orton to Win' camp.

The speciality markets are available from a handful of bookmakers. The image above is taken from the sportsbook that is open to customers of  32Red.com.

  1. Brock only hit 8 or 9 Suplexes on roman reigns at wrestlemania and this makes me feel even more tempted to take the under 10.5.. I can imagine lesnar doing about 5 in a row at the start and then maybe 2 or 3 later on in a row and then that's it.. He's gotten nowhere near 16 since that match. Fairly sure he only did about 10 to ambrose and hes a lighter guy

    1. I doubt I'll bet on it, but the 'Under' is what I'd go for.
