Comment Bag : 5 November 2016

This one came in especially for the Comment Bag from Jordan. It might be best to read this post and its comment page beforehand:

Do you feel, if Undertaker .vs. John Cena is happening at WrestleMania, it will be the main event? Cena is 3/1 to be a main event participant with Betfair.com

My reply:

Even though Jordan and I referred to possible scenarios that could lead to Undertaker versus John Cena at WrestleMania, I still have a feeling Cena's chase for the sixteenth world title will end up being his Mania storyline. He has lost numerous times to AJ Styles, so Styles has to do the honours. Therefore, I'm still counting on it being AJ versus Cena.

On top of this, we shouldn't disregard the rumours floating about a potential Shawn Michaels versus AJ Styles match at the Royal Rumble. If, and it's a huge if, this happens, this would rule out Styles dropping the title to Cena - or The Undertaker - at the Rumble.

With all that out there, back to the question..

If it is indeed John Cena versus The Undertaker, and it's for the title, then yes - it should be the main event, in my opinion. It should especially be the main event if Cena is the challenger.

I took Cena when he was 5/2 on April 9th, so you're getting an improved price.

  1. Also wwe announced a May 2017 UK tour. Finn balor is announced for it but the likes of Cena and Owens are not

    1. Wouldn't read too much into tour info this far out although Cena's schedule has changed to the point where, when he's available, he has only been working TVs.
