Elimination Chamber 2017 Might Be A Smackdown Show After All

It looks like February's WWE Elimination Chamber might be a Smackdown event after all.

Yesterday's daily update on the Wrestling Observer website ran with a correction from something that was printed in this week's newsletter where it stated that the Raw crew would be working the PPV.

Even though it isn't confirmed, Dave Meltzer now acknowledges that the event could be a Smackdown-exclusive show while the March 5th Fast Lane event is likely to feature the Raw cast.

This is the third day of Elimination Chamber posts.

On Tuesday, I published a post noting that the event would be returning in 2017 and speculated on it being a Smackdown event as a set up for John Cena to secure his WWE World Championship title shot. Then - after reading the Observer yesterday morning - I wrote about the reports of it possibly being exclusive to the red brand.

I have a feeling we'll get the confirmation we're looking for on Sunday.
