I am often asked to write about the match duration specials that the oddsmakers put up for every PPV and I'll get there in an upcoming post. For the time being, however, I'd like to concentrate on specials that are specific to the thirty-minute iron man match between WWE Raw Tag Team Champions - Cesaro and Sheamus - and The Hardys.
Expect some fantasy booking along the way..
Any Team To Win Without Conceding A Fall
This market is only offering the 'Yes' at 4/1. I highly doubt it'll come in.
Time Passed Before First Fall Is Conceded
With this match guaranteed to go at least thirty minutes, with the potential for overtime, there's little point having a match duration over/under. The traders have put up this market instead. Clients can wager on the first fall of the match being counted at '11:30 or over' or under eleven minutes and twenty-nine minutes.
When the market was installed, the traders had the 'Over' selection as a 9/10 outsider while the lower option was favoured with a price of 4/5.
The odds are still the same two hours later.
I haven't placed a wager on this, but - if I did - I'd look to back the '11:29 or less'. Why would I do this? Read on..
1st Participant To Win A Fall
This market has seen action as the team of 'Cesaro and Sheamus' have been backed to win the first fall. Their odds have been cut from 13/20 to 5/9. The challengers have drifted from 11/10 to 5/4.
I think the first bettors are on the right track. I believe that the heels should get the first fall or more and then have the babyfaces chase to tie things up.
If this is how the match is set up, it could mean that the time of the first fall is early in the match, which is what I pointed out above.
Total Number Of Falls (Excludes Overtime)
There are three options on the board. They are:
3 or Less 4/5
Exactly 4 4/5
5 or More 7/2
I'm not betting on this, but I like 'Exactly 4' as it would play into my idea of Cesaro and Sheamus going 2-0 up and forcing The Hardys to chase the tie.
Match To End In A Draw After 30 Minutes
The odds for there to be a draw after thirty minutes are:
Yes EVS
No 18/25
I backed 'Yes' when I first saw the market. The prices remain as they were when first installed.
Any Team To Lead By 2 Falls Or More
This has been backed from 5/2 to 6/4 within the first couple of hours it was available. I haven't bet on it, but this would play into my idea of Cesaro and Sheamus going ahead and the Hardys being forced to tie things up.
Match tied at evens and exactly 4 pins at 1.85?
ReplyDeleteA 3/1 or 4/0 is totally out of question ,you can't throw any of this great tag so under the bus.
This odds are just wrong
