5Dimes' WWE SummerSlam 2017 Odds For Sunday Morning

I have just taken the second of what will be many Sunday visits to the 5Dimes Sportsbook's WWE SummerSlam 2017 betting markets to see how the odds were.

In this post, I'll note the prices for every single match on the card and compare the current odds to my most recent visit in order to see where the customers have been betting.

I'll start off with the main event because it's at the top of my notes.

Universal Championship
Brock Lesnar was a -310 favourite to overcome his three adversaries and leave Brooklyn with his WWE Universal Championship when I noted down the odds at 3:15am BST today. He has since been backed into -400.
As a result, the oddsmakers have pushed 'The Field' out to +280 from +230.
The individual prices for Lesnar's opponents have stayed where they were. Samoa Joe is +400, Braun Strowman is +800 and Roman Reigns is +1650.

WWE Raw Women's Championship
This market is still showing the same pricing from 9pm BST yesterday. Alexa Bliss is a -260 favourite to successfully retain her title. A win for Sasha Banks will pay out at odds of +180.

WWE Championship
Jinder Mahal remains a +500 underdog to successfully retain the WWE Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura. The challenger is -900.

I've shared this table to point out how Jinder Mahal's price had been declining after 9pm last night. I might be blinkered into believing that Nakamura will win the match (I had a theory that he'll be the champion going to Osaka in September) but the moves in favour of Mahal have caught my attention, so this is one market I'll be watching more than the rest. I admit that my Osaka theory could be incorrect!

WWE Cruiserweight Championship
In a post published earlier today, I noted that the former Cruiserweight Champion, Neville, had been backed into favouritism. He is still at -160 while the new titleholder, Akira Tozawa, is out at +120.

WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship
The New Day remain -900 favourites to get a decision over their challengers, The Usos (+500). This market hasn't changed since at least 9pm yesterday evening.

Hardys and Jordan .vs. Miz and Miztourage
The Miz and his cronies had been backed from +205 into +160 by the early hoiurs. The market hasn't moved since that time A win for the babyfaces had drifted from -285 to -210.

WWE Smackdown Women's Championship
I tracked the odds at 3:15am for one reason - I was informed that there had been a flip in the market for the Smackdown Women's Championship. Natalya, who was out at +510 when I looked through the market at 11pm, had entered favouritism. She still remains at -315.
The current titleholder moved out from -930 to +235.
I think it's worth mentioning something I was told earlier this week. I noted that there was a false story doing the rounds about WWE being unhappy about Mattel being unable to produce a Naomi title belt in time for Christmas and this meant that WWE had to extend Naomi's reign. I noted that I had told two separate parties - who would know this sort of information - about this story to see what they thought of it. Both individuals  told me there was no substance to it whatsoever.
I was given the impression that Naomi's reign would end at the hands of Carmella (I was not told WHEN, just that this will be the plan). So, seeing Natalya's price fall here is a contradiction from what I was told. With all that said, Natalya could win by disqualification or count out and the title remains with Naomi, but that might be stretching it.

US Championship
AJ Styles is still a -400 favourite to get a decision over Kevin Owens in the US Championship bout. A victory for Owens will pay out at odds of +280.

Randy Orton .vs. Rusev
Another market that is still showing the same pricing as 9pm last night. Rusev is a -900 favourite to overcome the former WWE Champion. Orton is +500.

Big Cass .vs. Big Show
Big Show's odds had dropped from their opening +300 to +130 by 3:15am. He stays at this price. As a result, Big Cass, who opened at -420, is -170.

Finn Balor .vs. Bray Wyatt
Finn Balor remains at the -555 he has been since 6pm yesterday evening. Wyatt is out at +365. There were scenes here at WWELeaks Towers yesterday evening when Wyatt was backed both domestically and at 5Dimes. I strongly believe Balor has to win this if he's playing The Demon.

John Cena .vs. Baron Corbin
I was not surprised to see Baron Corbin go from an opening +170 into -210 by 3:!5am. I think, after Tuesday night's failed Money in the Bank cash-in, he needs to bounce back with a victory over John Cena. However, since this morning, the swing seems to have moved back on Cena. You can view the odds in the table below.

Cena has been backed from +160 to +120 sometime since the early hours. Corbin's price as a favourite is better for those of you of the same mindset as myself in believing he should be given the W after Tuesday's misfire.

WWE Raw Tag Team Championship
Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins were -175 favourites when I checked in this morning. They are now down to -230. With the babyfaces being backed, the oddsmakers have pushed Sheamus and Cesaro out from +135 to +170.

And I believe that's all. The prices were correct as of 9am BST today. They can be found under 'Other Sports' on the 5Dimes Website.
