Mahal Drifts In Styles' Successor Market

Kambi's 'WWE Champion After AJ Styles' markets were republished this morning and there have been a few changes. One of which might be of interest to those of you who believe that Jinder Mahal will regain the WWE Championship at Clash Of Champions in three weeks time.

Next WWE Champion After AJ Styles Betting Odds

As you can see - the former WWE Champion is a 2/1 shot to succeed Styles. When the market was first installed, Mahal was 5/4, so his price has evidently drifted.

Shinsuke Nakamura, who was 9/4 previously, has been trimmed into 6/4.

Another name whose odds have shortened is Kevin Owens. He went from 6/1 to 5s in this time.

John Cena remains 3/5.

If anyone is still clinging to the expectation of Jinder Mahal regaining the title, then the 'Date of Loss' special might also be to their liking.

The oddsmakers now have the time-frame of 'Between Survivor Series, But Before Royal Rumble' at 5/2. It was initially 6/4. This period will cover the Styles .vs. Mahal clash on December 17th.

With the first selection increased, the oddsmakers have cut the middle two offerings.

'Between Royal Rumble, But Before WrestleMania' and 'WrestleMania' were both 5/4. They're now at EVS apiece.

The final selection on the date of loss market '1st Day After WrestleMania 34 Or Later' has stuck at 6/1.

These WWE specials are found on the websites that publish betting markets from Kambi. A couple of examples can be found below.

  1. Who do you think David ?

Don't think Cena will win his 17th Title from Mahal now. Or he can , who knows

Cena vs Styles or Styles vs Nakamura. Both matches where WWE would be more than happy to do it at wrestlemania

But looking at Nakamura's booking, do you think Vince sees him as the guy who is worthy enough to win Royal Rumble and carry the brand as WWE champion

    1. I think the key thing is that Survivor Series poster that was changed.

It sure did look like Cena versus Mahal was a direction before they changed the strap to Styles.

It could still be the plan or it might not. I've covered my bases there, haven't I?

I discussed the Nakamura thing a number of times. However, this was before Survivor Series and I'm back to having doubts on him winning the Rumble.

    2. As for Lesnar's opponent at Royal Rumble ? Who do you think it will be if the reports on Vince cancelling the original plans of Balor vs Brock is true

    3. Batista would be a long-shot guess.

    4. Strowman is short-shot guess (HHH interferes).

    5. That would be cool but do you see Lesnar vs Styles at Royal Rumble again since WWE is already teasing the rematch

    6. I don't see it at the Rumble.

    7. Strowman is a good possibility based on his Survivor Series booking but I don't WWE wants Strowman to lose to Lesnar again

May be HHH faces Strowman at Royal Rumble

    8. I could be wrong, but Strowman v HHH seems to be the Mania direction to my eyes.

    9. Possible that means they might do HHH vs Kurt at Rumble
