This should come as welcome news to anybody who placed a bet on the star in Kambi's market - that was published last year - that will pay out on whoever is the main attraction for the event.
Goldberg had opened at 2/1 when the market was first priced up on June 18th. With names like Daniel Bryan, The Undertaker and Batista also seeing action along the way, the best available price for the former WWE Universal Champion was 4/1 (September 7th).
His odds tumbled to 1/8 in mid-December following reports that he was one of the names rumoured to be in the Class of 2018. They were as low as 1/10 when I last checked in on them in late-December.
For bets to be graded as winners, he must be the headline act of the evening. Therefore, his induction has to be the final one of the night.
The event will take air live on the WWE Network from Smoothie King Center in New Orleans a couple of nights before WrestleMania 34.
