Road To WrestleMania 35 Betting Odds

Last Sunday, the Kambi oddsmakers launched 'Road to WrestleMania' markets where customers could place wagers on the time-frames when certain wrestlers win any of the major titles in WWE along the road to next year's Mania.

The three wrestlers covered are Daniel Bryan, John Cena and Ronda Rousey.

These markets were republished this afternoon along with a new 'Road to WrestleMania' special where customers have a long list of names they can bet on to win either the World or Universal Championship at any point between the bet being struck and the end of the April 8th 2019 show. Similar markets have been available in previous years.

In this post, I'll point out any changes to the Bryan, Cena and Rousey specials then show what the odds are for the latest special.

The market where customers can wager on Daniel Bryan winning either the WWE or Universal Championship has seen the option to wager on a title victory taking place 'Before or During Money in the Bank' move up slightly from 11/2 to 6/1.

I guess this is mainly because - as of the time of writing - Bryan is out of contention to win this year's Money in the Bank ladder match after failing to qualify during this week's edition of Smackdown.

All other selections available in the market have been cut since Sunday. The most notable ones are 'During SummerSlam' from 5/2 to 7/4 and 'During WrestleMania' from 5/2 to 5/4.

Interestingly, the 'No Title Win Before End Of WrestleMania 35' has also been snipped.

Ronda Rousey's market has seen a few selections snipped as well.

In my opinion, the one that stands out is the option to wager on Rousey winning either of the women's titles 'During WrestleMania'. It has been slashed from 6/4 into 3/4. I haven't backed it myself, but - if I did - this would have been where I would have put my money. I strongly believe that Rousey's first year should culminate in a title win on the grandest stage of them all (when the mainstream will be all over such a story!).

With John Cena being listed as a 'Free Agent', he has more of a chance to win either of the major championships as he can float between Raw and Smackdown.

Therefore, it should come as no surprise to see that most of his odds have been cut since Sunday. With WWE claiming that Cena's next championship win will break a record, it's likely that the victory will take place on a big show. Whether it happens on the road to - and including - WrestleMania 35 is another thing.

As noted, Cena being a 'Free Agent' and chasing WWE's record means that there is a chance of him winning either title. Therefore, it shouldn't come as a surprise to see him at the top of the list of names where customers can bet on a wrestler winning the WWE Championship or Universal Title at any point from the bet being struck all the way to the end of Mania.

Cena is a short 7/25. Another name that stands out as short is Samoa Joe.

Moving to Smackdown, and evidently being positioned in title mix against AJ Styles - and potentially Shinsuke Nakamura - has seen Joe installed at 2/5.

Now that these markets are up, I aim to cover them all the way through to the night they are settled.
