The market - available from the sportsbooks that publish Kambi's WWE offerings - was republished earlier today with a number of adjustments made by the oddsmakers.
The selection being slashed from the aforementioned 6/1 into favouritism shouldn't come as a surprise considering Rusev is now the number one contender to Styles' strap following a win in a gauntlet match on this week's Smackdown.
He'll challenge for the title at Extreme Rules on July 15th. A market for the match was published today with Rusev a 19/10 outsider.
The Bulgarian Brute isn't the only name whose odds have been cut since I last noted the prices on June 16th.
Samoa Joe, who was 3/1, is tied with Styles' Extreme Rules 2018 opponent at 5/4. I believe this makes sense considering Joe has made it clear he wants to challenge Styles for the title.
Daniel Bryan - who was 3/1 previously - is now down to 2/1 and is a second-favourite behind Joe and Rusev.
The Miz has drifted out from 6/4 second-favourite into 3/1. This is a result of him not winning the Money in the Bank contract last Sunday after being a favourite for the majority of the MITB 2018 betting period.
Other names who have been cut are John Cena (10/1 to 13/2), Randy Orton (33/1 to 10/1), Randy Orton (33/1 to 10/1) and The Undertaker (40/1 to 20/1).
Following his firing in midweek, Big Cass has been removed from the running. He was added to the market at 20/1 on May 11th before having his odds halved on May 27th.
