Smackdown Women's Champion After Carmella Odds Update For July 28th

In a post published earlier today, I wrote about the latest 'WWE Champion After AJ Styles' betting market and noted all of the latest price changes. In this post, I'll take a look over the other Smackdown title market from Kambi - the one where customers can place bets on who they believe will succeed Carmella for the brand's Women's Championship.

WWE Smackdown Women's Champion After Carmella Betting Odds

The market was republished yesterday with Carmella's SummerSlam opponent - Becky Lynch - cut from 1/2 favourite into 1/4.

Lynch isn't the only name to drop, though. Nikki Bella and Lana have also been cut since the market was last changed over a week ago.

Nikki is now 8/1 from 10s and Lana is 20/1 from 25/1.

As mentioned above, the current favourite will challenge for the title on August 19th. What might have been a throwaway line on this week's Smackdown has me wondering whether or not Carmella's reign will extend to the week of the Evolution PPV on October 28th.

During Tuesday's episode, Carmella told Paige that she plans to retain the title all the way through to the October event. It's yet another thing I'll be keen to see if they follow through on. If this were to be done the way I think it should be, Carmella should ideally fall on the banana skin - and drop the strap - on the TV before Evolution.

This is WWE, though. The line is more than likely forgotten by now. Let alone October.
