I've just been browsing the Royal Rumble RequestABet selections on the Sky Bet website. As per usual, I've scrolled through all of the selections and one has stood out to me.
The bookmakers are offering 33/1 on this:
Rollins to win the Rumble, McIntyre most eliminations, Almas iron man, Lynch to eliminate Nia Jax and Lesnar to leave as champ
Regular visitors will know that Rollins is my current pick to win the Rumble, even though I dislike the idea of it, I suspect Braun Strowman will fail to win the Universal Championship from Brock Lesnar and I am confident that Becky Lynch will eliminate Nia Jax from the battle royal.
The two selections I am not as confident on are the ones for McIntyre to get the most eliminations and Andrade Cien Almas to be the iron man.
Not that I am totally against both things coming in.
McIntyre ousting a load of guys would make him come out of this strong. In a way, he kind of needs something big after the past few weeks. If Raw's McIntyre does indeed get the most eliminations - and the Rumble is won by Raw's Rollins - I think a Smackdown star would have to get some sort of attention directed towards them coming out of the match and Almas being in there the longest could be that. This is despite me also needing Seth Rollins to win the Rumble from position 1 - a wager I placed in December.
I've only placed a small wager at 33/1 due to not being confident on the two requirements I pointed out.
