Earlier today, I published a post noting that the oddsmakers from Sky Bet have published markets for the two new additions to the WWE Fast Lane 2019 card. The folks at Kambi have followed suit and released markets of their own.
They've given Asuka odds of 1/8 to successfully retain her WWE Smackdown Women's Championship against Mandy Rose.
Those looking for a decision in favour of the challenger can find Rose at 4/1.
I majority of this morning's post was about the new WWE Championship match that was set up last night. Kofi Kingston has been replaced by Kevin Owens in what strongly hints that Kofi will get his shot at WrestleMania.
As for next Sunday's match, Kevin Owens is a 3/1 underdog to Daniel Bryan's 1/5.
In the previous post, I mentioned that I had taken a gamble on Owens to win the match. I pointed out that I'm kind of betting on Owens to win by disqualification as I believe Bryan should retain.
I've placed an additional bet now.
Kambi has released its 'Method of Decision' market and is offering the following prices: Pinfall 2/5, Submission 2/1 or Any Other Method 5/2.
I've taken the 'Any Other Method'. If I am right, and it is a DQ for Owens, that will pay out. Another couple of scenarios that I have thought of are Bryan winning by disqualification or there being some sort of no contest.
To be fair, I think the main thing I'm doing is betting against Kevin Owens losing but I am doing so with the idea that Daniel Bryan retains. To me, it feels like it would be a flat return if Owens were to 'lose' the match against Bryan.
