Nikki Cross' odds to succeed Becky Lynch as Raw Women's Champion have continued to slide in a market that's available from Sky Bet.
Cross, who has teamed up with the champ on the two previous episodes of Raw, is now a 15/2 second-favourite. She was at 80/1 in mid-April to early-May.
For what it's worth, I caught something on Monday's Raw that made me think that Lynch .vs. Cross could be a destination.
Following Lynch and Cross' win over The IIconics, Lacey Evans came down the aisle to taunt Lynch. Nikki held back her tag team partner and got the referee to hand the Raw Women's Title to its owner. However, as Becky held it up, there was a very brief glimpse of Cross looking up at the strap while she was behind Lynch.
I tried to get a screen grab of the quick scene on YouTube before writing this post, but it was not included in the video clip. It ended just before the shot.
You can see how the market was looking as of 10:30AM BST today. I have not placed a wager on Cross in this market, but I have done something better. You can read about it below the table.
After watching Raw yesterday morning, I waited for Sky Bet's markets to be republished and was keen to see if Cross' price had declined. As you can see, she was adjusted from 10/1 to 8/1 following Monday.
I was about to place a wager on the 8/1 but then thought I'd check out Sky Bet's 'Champion by 1st January 2020' special for the Raw Women's Championship.
Cross was 12/1 there, so I bet on her there instead. The price has been snipped to 11/1 now, but there's still value when compared to the 'Champion After Becky Lynch' market.
