Smackdown Viewers For April 3 2020 And More

Even though Kambi didn't release its regular TV viewership markets for this week's professional wrestling programming, I was curious to see how last night's edition of WWE Smackdown fared.

The reason why I wanted to know Smackdown's number is because - in the final few days of 2019 - Kambi created a few prop markets for 2020.

One of these markets asked customers whether or not the April 3rd 2020 episode of Smackdown on FOX would have a total average audience of 2,9000,000 or more.

'No' was a 7/10 favourite over the EVS that was being offered for 'Yes'.

ShowBuzzdaily.com has released the numbers for last night and the total average over the two hours was 2,374,000 with 2,407,000 tuned in for the first hour and 2,342,000 for the second.

I backed the 'No' on December 30th, so I have a winning bet. My victory lap will be short-lived, though. That's because I also backed next week's Raw to do at least 2,750,000 viewers and Wednesday's WWE NXT to have one million or more.

As noted above, Kambi didn't release prop bets for this week's Raw, WWE NXT or AEW Dynamite. However, I've collected the numbers for those who would like them for future reference.

30th March 2020 - Monday Night Raw
Hour 1: 2,139,000
Hour 2: 1,986,000
Hour 3: 1,646,000
AVG:    1,923,667

1st April 2020 - AEW Dynamite
685,000

1st April 2020 - WWE NXT
590,000
