Kambi's AEW Interim World Championship Market Republished

Kambi's betting market, in which customers can gamble on who they believe will leave AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door with the Interim AEW World Championship has been republished with the two remaining participants still in play.

Yesterday, during NJPW Dominion, Hiroshi Tanahashi defeated Hirooki Goto and - as a result - will now face Jon Moxley in less than two weeks to determine the reserve titleholder.

AEW Interim World Champion Betting (June 13 2022)

As of this morning, Jon Moxley remains a favourite. However, his odds have been pushed up slightly since the market was last available as they've increased from 2/5 to 11/20.

Tanahashi, who was previously 7/5, is now 5/4.

During yesterday's NJPW event, the company announced names for this year's G1 Climax.

Tanahashi will be one of the tournament participants and - as I stated in a previous post about the Interim titleholder market - the reason why the belt exists is to have a standard bearer for AEW while CM Punk is absent. Therefore, it does not seem logical for Tanahashi to become the interim champion if he is heading back to Japan to compete in the G1.
