Selections Reinserted Into Paddy Power's MITB Markets

After watching Monday's episode of WWE Raw on Tuesday morning, I got in touch with Paddy Power's staff and asked them to reinsert a trio of selections into the Money in the Bank outright winner markets.

The first name I asked for was Becky Lynch.

In Monday's main event, Lynch failed to qualify for the ladder match following a qualification loss to Asuka. However, I have a feeling Lynch will find a way into the field via a last chance qualifier next week.

Ahead of the most recent episode of Raw, Paddy Power listed Lynch as a 5/4 favourite to become the 2022 Ms. Money in the Bank. She was removed from the market with her seemingly out of the running. Liv Morgan took the former WWE Raw Women's Champion's place as favourite. She had previously been third at odds of 4/1, but is now 7/4.

Asuka was 10/1 before Raw started, but has since dropped into 4/1 now that she is one of the confirmed participants.

The traders contacted me yesterday evening to note that the Becky Lynch selection has been reinserted. She is now 7/4 placing her alongside Liv Morgan and Alexa Bliss as 7/4 joint-favourites.

WWE Money in the Bank 2022

I wrote a few weeks ago about having backed Shayna Baszler to win the briefcase. She lost a qualifier to Raquel Rodriquez on last week's WWE Smackdown and was removed. Explaining the possibility of there being last chance qualifiers, I also requested Baszler to be once again added. She is currently 20/1, which is up from the 18s customers would have found her last week.

With all that said - of the two, I suspect Becky Lynch has the strongest chance of making the match through a last chance qualifier just because her desperation to be in the match has been a focus on TV. The story coming out of the main event was Lynch's agony of defeat rather than Asuka's ecstasy of winning.

As I wrote over a week ago, Riddle was one of the people I had punted on to win the Money in the Bank briefcase because I suggested the possibility of the RK-Bro team member losing to Roman Reigns on Friday night and needing the Money in the Bank contract to overrule Friday's stipulation which states that he cannot challenge Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship ever again.

On Monday night, Riddle brought up that loophole before losing his qualifier to Omos. After the loss, Seth Rollins attacked Riddle.

I have thought of many ways this could go (guessing it'll be Riddle vs Rollins at SummerSlam), and I'm not really sure we're going to have Riddle win the Money in the Bank briefcase, but I thought that it was worth asking for Riddle to be reinserted into the market as well just to see what price he could be with the belief that he was out of the hunt.

Those looking to gamble on Riddle will currently find him at 16/1. This is up from his most recent price of 14/1.

Seth Rollins remains a 1/2 favourite to leave the match with the briefcase.

Here are the prices for all of the confirmed participants as of this morning.

Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Seth Rollins 1/2
Drew McIntyre 5/2
Omos 15/2
Sheamus 20/1

Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Liv Morgan 7/4
Alexa Bliss 7/4
Asuka 4/1
Raquel Gonzalez 5/1
Lacey Evans 5/1
