Mania At The PC, AEW Dynamite Odds And Gronk Special

As I'm sure you're all aware by now, this year's WrestleMania is now scheduled to take place from WWE's Performance Center in Miami rather than Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.

This obviously means that a prop bet I wrote about last week  - which asked whether the event would be 'Moved or Cancelled' - should soon end up being settled in favour of the 'Yes' option, which was available at odds of +3,500.

For the past few days, I've been continuing to keep track of the Mania betting markets that are still available, but have been doing so with the mindset of 'why bother, the event is going to be postponed?' so I have now got to jump back into it knowing that the event is still on.

With that said, I still have the thought in the back of my mind that it isn't going to happen.

Or something.

I'm really entertaining the theory that what we're going to see on April 5th is not going to be a live event. What I think we're going to see are a bunch of matches that have been pre-recorded and aired as live.

For example  - they could have easily filmed the AJ Styles versus Undertaker match sometime during the day and that could be left in the can until April 5th. That would mean Styles, Taker, Anderson and Gallows are free to stay away from travelling any more until the Coronavirus outbreak has passed through.

Same for Bill Golderg and Roman Reigns. Their match could be recorded this Friday seeing as both men will be in Orlando for Smackdown.

With there not being any people in attendance at the Performance Center and a makeshift setup of lights and ring apron, it really could be done. And it's kind of safer to do it this way as it prevents the talent from travelling all over the country back-and-forth for the next few weeks.

Even if my theory is wrong, it's still an idea I would consider best for the current state of the business. It's only going to take one of those wrestlers to fall ill and the entire show will once again be up in the air.

I'll get back to writing about WrestleMania odds over the next day or so.  In the meantime, I would recommend anyone looking to bet on pro wrestling to check out Sky Bet as they've published markets for tomorrow night's AEW Dynamite.

Here are the prices.

Inner Circle 1/2
The Elite 6/4

Lucha Bros. 1/4
Best Friends 11/4

The Butcher and The Blade EVS
Jurassic Express 8/11

The market was first brought to my attention a little after 11:30PM GMT last night. The odds remain as they were from then.

Another market that I haven't written about is one that's available from 5Dimes concerning Rob Gronkowski's WWE future.

It's giving customers the opportunity to gamble on who Gronk will wrestle first. The selections, along with their odds, are:

Cesaro +325
Robert Roode +375
Dolph Ziggler +425
Mojo Rawley +550
Sheamus +550
Jinder Mahal +650
Riddick Moss +650
King Corbin +900

If only a UK-serving sportsbook copied this market (and odds!).
